Völkerball is the German name for the game of dodge ball. Literally it means Peoples's Ball. One could also think that the combination of the word Ball, being a dancing event like English ball or prom, in connection with Peoples and relating to the musical act Rammstein, means Dancing/Musical event of (all) peoples. The album was recorded during the show in Nîmes, France, on July 23, 2005

Fun Fact my fellow Rammstein heads, if you didn't know... A professional fighter asked Rammstein if they would write a song for him personally to use on his entrance music to his next big fight and this song was what they made for him!🔥🔥 Crazy part is the guy bailed out for whatever reason and didn't even want to use it. It was such a banger though they decided to release it to all of us and I'm glad they did 🤘

Yes it’s Klychko. He listened the end version and said it is too intense for him… also same reason why the count and at words “Aus”, but not count of ten. That’s the boxing thing to say.

I have seen Rammstein on the Made in Germany and this year, the Self-titled/Zeit tour. I have to say, Volkerball and Made in Germany versions of Sonne are just something else. By far my favourite song of theirs, thank you for the upload, from the bottom of my ❤️.
