I was super close to buying one of these but ended up getting an 02 JDM WRX instead... I'm just curious, how hard does it push you back in the seat in 1st/2nd? with the Subie you don't get much till the turbo kicks in but I'm curious if with the NA you get a good pull right away and consistently all the way through?

Depends what you want the car for, I found it a fun rwd with a decent amount of power, I wouldn't say it's a real keep your head in your seat fast like a turbo scooby but, it was well tuned to get 210bhp out of a factory 2 litre N/A.

It had more go after 5.5k (roughly) and screamed till about 8k so that was the fun part of the rev range. Before those rpms it wasn't sluggish, but definitely to get the max you needed to keep it in high rpms.

i see its an old video but how are these cars to daily drive? thinking about getting one for a fun daily, what sort of fuel economy and such do you get?

Hello, I only daily drove this car for a few months, however it was great in the short time. Hmmm, sorry it has been that long that I can't remember what it was like in fuel, but I dont remember it being really harsh on fuel. It was a fun wee car to drive, and loads of fun to rev. Hope that helps, thanks.

Does your oil pressure stay around 3/4 when you driving then drops back down at idle?

I honestly cannot remember on this car and I don't have the car anymore. But yes that would sound like it's doing the correct thing. I have a couple of other cars and they do as you describe. The engine doesn't need high oil pressure at idle. But when rpms rise the oil pressure will rise (up to a maximum)
