SMRT’s sixth generation trains (C151C) has made its proper debut this morning on Nov 4, 2023 (Saturday) 5 years after its service debut in 2018.
While the C151C made their appearance on the East-West Line (EWL), they have made several lifetime sights that are very rare to experience in the North-South East-West Lines (NSEWL) network!
Currently, the C151C train model has been confined to operating on the North-South Line (NSL) for 5 years, and has not seen an official debut on EWL yet (except for numerous occasions as the train model was redeployed as an enhancement train). Hence. it would be a good time to feature 2 train models that are currently confined under a separate line as a cameo appearance at a non-interchange station!

Scene 3 is the most common on the NSL, but it is the rarest on the EWL.
I think eventually they will become permanent and maybe common once there are enough R151s to go around.
