Hello you curious little comment-readers. Since you're "down-below" already, why not subscribe (to me) so you can be the first person on Earth to see the next video? And perhaps watch my other videos while you're at it.
The prices at Mercedes-Benz Stadium are not normal for stadiums in the US. They are much more affordable than most stadiums. I was pleasantly surprised.
For Context: Chelsea wasn't the Big Attraction for that Doubleheader. It was #24 Miguel Almirón of Newcastle. He played for our Local Club Atlanta United. So this is his first time back in Atlanta since December, 2018 when we won the League. Had a Hero's Welcome when he came on.
TBF your comparing a regular season match to a friendly in another country, of course the atmosphere wasn't great. Maybe go to an Atlanta United regular season game. I bet the atmosphere will be better. Happy you enjoyed yourself despite the lack of a competitive atmosphere.
Almost as good as being there. Thanks for sharing the entire matchday experience and injecting so much humour into what could so easily have been a somewhat sterile experience.
This video was great! Id say you were in the best stadium in the US when theres actual games going on and probably wouldve been surprised at the atmosphere at an ATL United match
I'm a season ticket holder for Atlanta United and attended this game too. You're better off going to an actual home match if you want atmosphere. The PL series brought out anyone who cared about footie, as evidenced by Man Utd, Messi, and Ted Lasso shirts. Almiron played for Atlanta United so the Newcastle-Chelsea match was always destined to have more atmosphere.
Also, I do apologize because their football games on Sunday definitely hit more like a premier league game so the atmosphere is currently brutal in upper North America 🙃
The atmosphere at games for American teams is actually really good in a lot of places in America. The LA Galaxy vs LAFC game in the rose bowl was insane.
Yeah I think there's this weird assumption that american stadiums don't have atmospheres because of the "fight and win" guy, but I've seen loads of clips now that disprove this
Everyone has their own preferences, but personally there's no better feeling than watching a goal go in five meters away and running down the stairs to celebrate at the front
This is what they need to ban not 3rd round fa cup relpays. The prem dont care about the real fans only the rich ones. We need to ban world tours instead of replays as that can make a club survive for years just on that money. Also efl cup semi final should be 1 leg in neutral ground same as fa cup semi. Also no extra time. We need to save our own leagues not worry about the rest of the world
Correction, the Prem don't care about real fans, only getting more of them. World tours like this attract more to watch the league. Rich and poor pay the same amount to watch the game, so quantity matters more. But for the record, I agree with you on the FA cup replays. Utter shambles
My guy that’s a NFL stadium. For a proper football ground, Exploria Stadium in Orlando. The house of the Atlanta falcons was full of glory hunters. Come on Stevenage and Orlando City!!

Thank you man I really appreciate it 🙏

As a former Atlanta resident and Atlanta United fan, the food options are also not too shabby compared to other stadia in the US.
2 dollar hot dogs

Ah I see that makes sense. I only assumed Chelsea were the main event because there were a big group of them to my left
@@auhsoj3adie I'm a Chelsea Supporter myself and was just as excited then they were coming to our City, but Almirón coming back had me shedding tears.

It was actually a bit better than I expected at times to be fair, but I’ll definitely be sure to revisit in the future for the full experience.
@@auhsoj3adie the Atlanta United atmosphere has been on a bit of a decline in recent times but mls playoff games typically have the best ones
@@themelzymusic Mainly because of the gaffer but when he's booted itll get better.
Very underated youtuber
Brilliant video. Top 3 Brentford matchday in America vlogs i've seen in a while.
Your reaction this entire video is hilarious, “So many food options and I’m not even hungry” 🤣🤣
Haha it was very overwhelming for a humble brit such as myself

Enjoyed watching - great job!
That atmosphere was absolutely shocking, great video though. Subscribed!
Great video and editing!

quality. you deserve more subs.
Excellent thanks for sharing
Class content dude. If you ever get a chance to watch an MLS game I'd love to hear your thoughts
Absolutely man, the more I see of the MLS the more it interests me - Thanks for watching 👊

The Benz is known nationwide for its cheap good eats.
YOU ONLY HAVE 190 subs????? new sub right here
Thank you brother, aiming for 1000 before the year ends
As a toon fan at the game, the atmosphere was wank but the miggy goal was class.
All stadiums/arenas have escalators. This isn't 1980's Bulgaria.
The majority of footy grounds in the UK don't have escalators, apart from the very new and large ones. We tend to take the stairs over here.
Most countries don't build arenas for sports that were invented after the escalator.
That is a football fans version of hell 😂😂

Is the B bees or blues? There are two ways this could go my friend
how do you only have 142 subs
I wish I knew man, I wish I knew
i much prefer seats high enough to see THE WHOLE FIELD well... those supporters seat give you 1/3 of the field

How the fuck did you survive on a spirite airlines flight
With perseverence and a little bit of magic my friend

Ok
bruh 100 subs how
Not sure mate these people are crazy
Brentford
That's right!!!
Sky blues are Coventry not Man City!
Oh dammit. I think wikipedia misled me slightly
Only Mexico related games can fill up stadiums in the U.S
Nah cause USA fans would buy tickets and just not show up leaving the stadium half empty while other half is Mexico fans XD
We can fill stadiums
The Atl United fill that stadium with 65k on a routine basis.
Incorrect
