I'm old school and I know a classic album when I hear it. I didn't think real music was around anymore. Saba is on heavy rotation. Thank you for allowing my ears to hear beautiful music again.
@@cucktruck652 He's an oldhead so not only will he not actually look around for all the "real music" that he would want but I assume he calls all the trap shit "fake music" because he can't get with the fact that the genre is evolving to be more than just rapping, and lyrics.
"Old school" isn't an excuse to not adapt, don't talk about real music when you've only heard old school stuff, it is compositionally some of the weakest music regardless of preference
I was actually listening to the spotify radio on my motorcycle when this came on. I was already sold at the first half, but when SIRENS came on I felt true freedom. Wish I could replicate that feeling. Unfortunately the lyrics portray a very real consequence of white supremacy and hate. Now when I listen to this my heart sinks.
I saw saba perform this live last night and it’s one of the few moments of the last few months where I’ve felt genuinely happy. Now the suicidal thoughts are back but at least I have this 🥲
At this point, this is still my number 2 album after all of these months, second only to TA1300. It's not as widespread or as cheery as Bucket List, but that's definitely not a bad thing. This album is amazing, and somehow Saba still madly underrated.

Man your album, right next to Acid Rap and Coloring book for me. You have so many good sounds and your story telling skills are immaculate, the jazz and neo soul especially in Logout, was amazing I literally felt my soul leaving my body to watch myself listening to this album. When I heard you on "Angels" I was like okay he's lit. Didn't listen to you Again imma be real. But this popped up, the same way I discovered Chance, I used to hate his music when I was younger, but now I can relate to y'all more than I ever thought I would. Keep it up, platinum, almost flawless. I'm a musician and I'm 17 btw. Maybe in a crazy future I could become successful enough to make a song with you. All my favorite artists come from Chi but I'm from Atlanta. Noname, Vic, Chance, Saba
Thanks you saba, i still haven't toughened up over the years but when i hear this i cry. I thought i could live the happy life but it doesnt work that way.

Here after the Few Good Things release date was announced. This album changed the way I view music. Truly an incredible project that I’ll always come back to. Can’t wait to see you perform for the first time this year. Best wishes to all
i listened to this song for the first time back in april 2020 and the timing couldn't be better. i was having some relationship problems, related to cheating, which also led to an ugly fight with the people i used to call my friends, and it was all in the middle of the beggining of the pandemic. i kinda almost did something terrible to an accquaintance and got isolated from my former friends, and months later they have been revealing themselves as huge douchebags, doing shit i just couldn't endorse. some things are meant for the better, even though we don't understand it at first, but it is all part of the learning. stay strong y'all, its still a fucked up reality we're living, but we shall come through
Bro same it was never official bcz i got scared to say yes properly bcz my last ones friends had me fûxķed up on the timing so i thought 4 months was too little so i said i loved her but rn i couldnt call it official she moved on and well heres this song 😅
Im weird. I always love the first half og the song more the more n more i hear it. Sirens is fire.. But busy just puts you in that perspective... I feel people dont feel for the fact of how lowkey depressing the track is.... But it fills in so perfectly for what makes sirens...plus i love tracks where it gives you good picture of a artist mindstate... Emotions... Life.. Going into waters they usually don't tread into... Same with This side by earthgang the more n more i listen to that song... The more i appreciate and love the first half of that song... Second half is amaretsu flames.. But the first half just the part that sets the tone for the whole song and album imo..
Elijah Cesar The first part hits so much harder than the second half for me. I relate to being awkward growing up and having to deal with being by myself a lot

Butter is a song made by Saba
I'm so alone, but all of my friends
But all of my friends got some shit to do
Yeah, all 'em got plans
I call 'em, I'm bad at texting
They never cross me like bad pedestrians
I've been this awkward since adolescence
I don't know how long I had depression
Never no peer-pressure
I'm tryna' get my little pecker off in some girl
I call my BFF, that ain't no secret kept
I fucked then told my cousin
I'm broke, I wasn't buzzin'
I tried to hit a few years, she wasn't budgin'
I'm bogus, left my girl for some shawty
Surely deservin' of all this lonely
"You sad? Tell me, how are you sad?
You got all of these friends, you got all of these fans"
I ain't trust nobody new since 2012, I ain't let nobody in
Jesus got killed for our sins, Walter got killed for a coat
I'm tryna cope, but it's a part of me gone
In this packed room I'm alone
[Chorus: Saba and Daoud]
I'm havin' a busy day, I'll hit you back right away
I seen that skies were grey, I hope to God you're safe
I'm havin' a busy day, I'll hit you back right away
I seen that skies were grey, I hope to God you're safe
Ohhh, ohhh
[Verse 2: Saba]
I'm so alone, just me and my girl
She leave me for work, then leave me for school
She finally home, I leave her for tour
FaceTime me nudity, yeah, all of this new to me, yeah
All of the infidelity when I was 17 been catchin' up
It still feel like she'll catch me cheatin'
Niggas askin' me how tour was
Knowin' I been home like two months
And I seen your ass like two times
Save the small-talk like two dimes
No time, social interaction
Had female friends I found attractive
I tried to fuck but I am no savage
Now we don't speak, we just walk past
If my past could talk
It'd probably reply to the missed calls after all
Cause the friendships that I can't recall
Done turned my heart into camouflage
While the guys I used to play basketball with
Doin' shit that I can't endorse now
With the Lord now, when it pours down
Was alone then, still alone now
[Chorus: Saba and Daoud]
I'm havin' a busy day, I'll hit you back right away
I seen that skies were grey, I hope to God you're safe
I'm havin' a busy day, I'll hit you back right away
I seen that skies were grey, I hope to God you're safe

Ridin' through the city
I'm young, I'm black, I'm guilty
I know one time wanna kill me
They don't know me but they fear me
15 years old with the sticky
They gon' blame it on the marijuana
Hands behind your head
And they won't let up out they lead
But if I move thats disrespect
But if they shoot then that's just that?
And if I run then that look bad?
Drawing they gun right off their hip
I'm probably deservin'
'Cause I know they serve and protect
But they think I'm servin'
Or they think my cellphone's a weapon
Heard that the robber wore a black mask
I fit the description, a.k.a. "nigga"
What is the difference? It's an enigma
We so divided, I'm from Division
Clutch that purse cause of my dreadlocks
Cross that street cause I'm with my friends
Curse every song in hip-hop
Keep telling yourself it's all fair

When the beat switch comes it gives me so strange feeling, if i close my eyes it almost feels like i’m slowly rising from the ocean and floating up to the sky full of stars. I can’t even describe properly. This song is amazing.
I just burst out crying listening to this song 😭
I'm old school and I know a classic album when I hear it. I didn't think real music was around anymore. Saba is on heavy rotation. Thank you for allowing my ears to hear beautiful music again.
Real music still exists you just need to look harder for it
@@cucktruck652 He's an oldhead so not only will he not actually look around for all the "real music" that he would want but I assume he calls all the trap shit "fake music" because he can't get with the fact that the genre is evolving to be more than just rapping, and lyrics.
Earl sweatshirt
"Old school" isn't an excuse to not adapt, don't talk about real music when you've only heard old school stuff, it is compositionally some of the weakest music regardless of preference
This is a masterpiece.....much more than music. Classy exposition of soul and awareness. Blessings and love for all of you!!!!
3:50 "Sirens" has never been so poignant as it is now, because of recent events. Man, it hit me so hard in the feels today! #BlackLivesMatter
I LOVE THAT PART SO MUCH.
"heard the robber wore a black mask, I fit the description a.k.a 'nigga' what is the difference?" I felt that mane...😔
The way they used this song in the season finale of Insecure. I jumped!
Now the suicidal thoughts are back but at least I have this 🥲
Saba and Magdalena Bay fan??? We need more people like you here to appreciate good art, friend!
I hope you’re doing well bro ❤

Saba is so damn pure! Wow! ✨
I woke up this morning and this was playing on Spotify I had to save this
In quarantine, people get the chance to reflect over their lives and I can imagine that this album is being played on repeat for a lot
RIP to everyone’s loved ones
They’re watching 😇🙏🏽
I can’t comprehend how a song can be this good
At this point, this is still my number 2 album after all of these months, second only to TA1300.

Props to Saba and the whole team for delivering great messages without compromising on beat and flows
Thanks you saba, i still haven't toughened up over the years but when i hear this i cry. I thought i could live the happy life but it doesnt work that way.
lyrics
I'm so alone
But all of my friends, but all of my friends, got some shit to do, yeah
All of 'em got plans, I call 'em up, "my bad, " n' text 'em
They never cross me like bad pedestrians
I been this awkward since adolescence
I don't how long I had depression
Never know no peer-pressure, I'm tryin' to get my little pecker
Offend some girl I call my BFF, that ain't no secret kept
I'm fucked, then tell my cousin how broke I was and bussin'
I tried to hit a few years, she wasn't budgin'
I'm bogus, left my girl for some shawty, shawty
Deservin' all this lonely
You said, "Tell me, how are you sad
You got all of these friends, you got all of these fans"
I ain't trust nobody new since 2012, I ain't let nobody in
Jesus got killed for our sins, Walter got killed for a coat
I'm tryna cope, but it's a part of me gone
And apparently I'm alone
I'm havin' a busy day, I'll hit you back right away
I seen that skies were grey, I hope to die your slave
I'm havin' a busy day, I'll hit you back right away
I seen that skies were grey, I hope to die your slave
I'm so alone
Just me and my girl, she leave me for work, then leave me for school
She finally home, I leave her for tour
FaceTime me, nudity, yeah
All of this new to me, yeah
All of the infidelity when I was seventeen
Been catchin' up, I still feel like she catch me cheatin'
Niggas askin' me how tour was
Knowin' I been home like two months
And I seen your ass like two times
They just small-talk like too damn no time, social interaction
Have female friends I found attractive
If I try to fuck, but I am no savage
Now we don't speak, we just walk past
If my past could talk
It'd probably reply to the missed calls after all
'Cause the friendships that I can't recall, done turned my heart into camouflage
While the guys I used to play basketball with
Doin' shit that I can't endorse
Now with the Lord, now it really pours down
What's the lone plans, still alone now
I'm havin' a busy day, I'll hit you back right away
I seen that skies were grey, I hope to die your slave
I'm havin' a busy day, I'll hit you back right away
I seen that skies were grey, I hope to die your slave

Saba hits the soul is so many different levels and I can't find the words to express how talented he is but also the production of his songs.
my favorite cd of 2018 by a long shot... both of Saba’s albums are just able to pull emotions out of me
“I’m so alone, but alla my friends got some shit to do..”
I felt that. These 20 somethings are hard. My friends and I all have so many responsibilities and things that keep us from being able to be around one another and this shit feels lonely sometimes. I miss my friends, man.
Why is everyone choosing between Sirens and Busy both are S+ Tier

This hits different between midnight and 3 am
Give Saba his flowers 😢❤
this those type of songs that makes life worth it,to live life and not to end it.
Definitely one of the ones I had on repeat while sitting in my car smoking with my 9 on my lap and my kids and their mom in the house clueless. It's been almost 2 years since that night
was excited for flatbush's album but now i got a whole new inventory with this album. thanks saba been needing some good tunes.

Here after the Few Good Things release date was announced. This album changed the way I view music. Truly an incredible project that I’ll always come back to. Can’t wait to see you perform for the first time this year. Best wishes to all

The real album of the year #2018
saba's greatest to this day
my favorite song of all time, thanks saba
Forever a CLASSIC. 290OUTWEST GOAT
i listened to this song for the first time back in april 2020 and the timing couldn't be better. i was having some relationship problems, related to cheating, which also led to an ugly fight with the people i used to call my friends, and it was all in the middle of the beggining of the pandemic. i kinda almost did something terrible to an accquaintance and got isolated from my former friends, and months later they have been revealing themselves as huge douchebags, doing shit i just couldn't endorse. some things are meant for the better, even though we don't understand it at first, but it is all part of the learning. stay strong y'all, its still a fucked up reality we're living, but we shall come through
Bro same it was never official bcz i got scared to say yes properly bcz my last ones friends had me fûxķed up on the timing so i thought 4 months was too little so i said i loved her but rn i couldnt call it official she moved on and well heres this song 😅
I recommend u by kendrick lamar bcz its good
he’s slowly becoming one of my favorite artist.
Red led lights ... this song .. a blunt .
VIBE🤝.
FACTS ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT TIME
My spotify alarm woke me up with this song, and this was the best song to wake up to
the goosebumps really hit when he gets serious in the 2nd half.
@@themonkeyshead7520 thats why i fucks with busy... Its literally speaking to alot of people right now
