This is set in the 90s and still far away from the major events that happen in the Reboot... like Russia's invasion of Urzikstan in 1999. Also to take in mind is the factor that the Zombies event is happening concurrently in 1991, meaning that eventually in the end of its segment of the Ex-Requiem Crew's story, we go right back to 2021 when Zakhaev's son, Victor, uncover their whereabouts.
