Aldgate Barrs subway is also long gone was a mini underground shopping area with several shops like H&Barret, Next and several others.

I used to go through the market every month with my cousins, it was lovely . Wow, it has changed. What a shithole and what a shame!

I remember the area around Wentworth St and Commercial St down to the old Spitafields was proper grubby. Lots of drugs and prostitution. Area looks a lot cleaner now
