I remember seeing this car featured on the Hamb years ago. Such a cool survivor!

Yup, we featured it in the magazine in 2004 after I made my first trip out to the salt. Great car and a great guy.

These cars that are part of history are the best kind of stories to tell.

Hey Lance! This is Casey; Scotty’s buddy/ex shop stooge, and Hemi/early dodge nerd. How ya been!? I just stumbled upon your channel. Hope all is well.

@@crazycaseyscustoms Sounds good. I just sold the '58 Panel Truck. If you haven't seen those videos, its a cool story. Working on my'63 C10 short bed right now then its going up for sale. I'm selling most of my cars. Not enough time, energy or space to deal with them all.

Yeah, I did that a few years ago, myself. I thought I saw (maybe you contacted me!?) that you had the Dodge (what was that car, a Coronet or something, with the hemi???) for sale a while back. Or maybe I’m imagining it. I was in the middle of my own Hemi purge. Dumped a ton of stuff that will probably never be seen again. Now I’m down to three. 😊 @@SpeedandChromeTV

@@crazycaseyscustoms I have a '53 DeSoto Firedome two door, Hardtop with the original 276 Hemi. Drivetrain is basically done, with a disc brake conversion. I started the paint work and thats when we moved into town and I lost my shop/paint booth space so not much has changed in 10 years. It most likely will be up for sale as well, just need to get it back from that guy who was supposed to be doing the four link out back, it's been over 3 years so I don't think thats happening. Then I have the '56 Ford Customline Gasser, and the '62 Ford Unibody, and the '32 Ford Roadster...They all may end up getting sold. I'm pretty tired of projects. I think I'll just buy something done and enjoy it.

There are no front brakes showing in the photos, Lincoln or otherwise.

It's so sad the family doesn't tell the history of the car
