Very true, you’re viewing the fish as many of us would, imagining having them in our ponds, whereas the buyers are looking at maximising profit, That’s why he bought an entire pond from a lesser known breeder and walked away from a top reputation one, the well known breeders are fully aware of the money buyers make so only sell top high grade at higher prices to the buyers to maintain their brand and keep those prices high. Probably the most well known of those being Dainichi, that’s your top level brand there, no entire pond for a less than a grand from that breeder 😂
