Friend Called 911 After Accused Killer Admitted to Murdering His Wife

A friend of accused killer Joseph Ferlazzo took the stand on Friday afternoon, during which the state played a 911 call the friend made after Ferlazzo allegedly admitted to killing his wife, Emily. The friend called the police, concerned about the situation, and expressed disbelief that Ferlazzo was capable of such an act. Both the friend and the defendant became emotional during the 911 call.

Joseph Ferlazzo is accused of shooting and killing his wife, Emily Ferlazzo, while they were vacationing in Vermont to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary. Joseph eventually confessed to the crime and said he dismembered her body then dumped her remains in the bathroom of their camper van. The New Hampshire man was booked on a first-degree murder charge.
