Hi There.
Just a heads up. What you refer to as an amour plate on the front bottom is actually a dozer blade to self intrench the tank. Most Russian tanks have them.

I'm doing the Trumpeter T-80BVM right now (just applied decals), good to see your solution for the rear grills (I didnt even think of that!, mine are damn ugly but hidden by the rear air intake), my big issue right now is the damn tracks.
