Hi, I am not sure about bird shows in Chicago. Search for bird show schedules in your area and you may find one.
They are not showpiece, promoting such expo means promoting birds in cages as showpiece.

We don’t have anything that can match the bird expos and shows where I am. We are planning to take a vacation in your area in the near future and would very much like to plan it around one of the National bird shows and bird sanctuary places that you have shown in your videos. Would you be able to provide me with a list of places to go? Thanks for your info.
Also, do you know if customs would confiscate bird supplies like food and accessories coming back to the US?
Not sure about customs. The Bird Kingdom in Niagara Falls is an awesome Aviary, its located at 5651 River Road, Niagara Falls.
The National Bird Show is once a year every October, the website is www.national-birdshow.com
Friends of the Aviary is in Hamilton but not sure if they will still be open, check on their website. The address is 85 Oak Knoll Drive, Hamilton. www.friendsoftheaviary.ca
The Toronto Zoo has some nice birds to see in the Pavillons. www.torontozoo.com

Don’t they get stressed out?
EliteFalcon 12 most of the birds are used to it and used to people but I did see stressed out birds. Their owners took them home right away. I would not bring certain birds that stress easy or are afraid of people.
Awww poor birds in tiny cages. Crazy that people cage birds that are meant to fly larges distances.
Canaries won’t reall survive in the wild
