- This gotta be the weirdest Amorphis song... Not sure what they were thinking but had fun times covering it :p Tried messing up with effects too but they just broke the whole video, whatever.

Really really good. Did you learn this by ear or tab? And why don't you ever use your pinky?
MercifulFate cant honestly remember, probably by ear. And what are you talking about me not using pinky :D i use pinky all the time, evne more than my ring finger. I even usually play power chords with pinky. That being said i really have lots of choices cos my fingers are kinda long, but at same time that makes some basic chords really hard.
Hartsai Thanks for the quick reply! And just wondering because I wanted to learn this album but it was too difficult for me to do by ear because firstly I didn't know what tuning it was in (I play 6 string) and secondly cause a lot of the low sounding chords are hard to make out. You play amazingly (better than me for sure) and rewatching I see you use the pinky in the beginning but around riffs 0:51. Well thats mostly the only riff you do that I got mixed up when you played the power chords with your pinky xD
MercifulFate i can play power chords easily with bot ring finger or pinky. Me playing them with pinky is just bad habit from the times i started practicing guitar and have never gone away, and probably will not go away. using ringer finger would be much better choice cos its stronger and lets you do weird tricks like spider chords
Hartsai Ah thanks for the explanation, but if you know somethings a better alternative why not make that the new habit? Really like the music you play in your other videos by the way!
MercifulFate after having done something wrong for 10 years its not that easy to correct. Sure i can do it if i concentrate really hard but when i lose that concentration i will just play sloppy as im used to :p
Maybe not the favourite one for me, but surely the weirdest hehe
