- The Håverud Aqueduct is part of the Dalsland Canal built 1864-1868 and it's a popular tourist destination, it is the most visited location in the Dalsland region. This time we take a short walk at that aqueduct.

This was certainly a quick view of the Håverud aqueduct but nonetheless interesting and what great scenery! Impressive engineering in the 1860's. This Nils Ericson who if I am correct was the older brother of John Ericsson, both of them great engineers for sure. One thing that confuses me though is that Nils seemed to spell his surname with one s while John with two? Anyway, impressive that two brothers were so prominent in engineering and construction.
That shot at 4:55 is great, with the mirroring of the sky and the buildings in the water.

Thanks for watching! I had to look it up now that you mentioned it and it seems Nils Ericson removed one 's' from his last name when he was "adlad" ( ennobled ) in 1854.
