FYI a lot of these owls are mistreated and not monitored by professionals. This would never be legal in USA and for good reason. These are nocturnal animals, so having them played with during the day is impacting their life.

Owls are one of my favorite animals too so if you actually love them please don't go. They are all bred and trafficked and kept in unnatural positions. Owls are predators and wild animals, not some cute little thing to touch. If you want to see owls in an ethical way, go to a raptor rehabilitation center

Barn owls are the chubby white ones with the brown heart around their faces. It's so cute! They peep like birds and can screech like a true owl. Mostly they can be talkative and playful and even will fight for attention... THE CAT OF THE OWLS!

omg owls are my favourite animal and always will be when i was younger i used to at like christmas there w souls be an odd owl show and maybe you could have one on your arm and as much as that was cool i was just so interested in them and i wanted more to do with them, about a year back maybe over a year me and my mum were in town and we saw these 4 owls and there was a tall guy on his own with these owls and me and my mum weren’t doing anything on that day so we needed up staying for a while and my mum started talking to the owner and they exchanged numbers and i was just sat with the owls stroking them learning all there names how old they are what type of owl they are and why they were rescued and it got to about 4 o clock and people started to leave town and he started packing up and he has volunteers around teens to maybe like young adult volunteer help with rescued animals but at the time him and his wife were struggling cause they only had a few volunteers and as much as they helped they needed someone to be there more often but i was at school so it was hard for me to be there on school days but actually my mum helped a couple times in the week if they really needed help but every weekend i could i would be with them helping them out and cause i was doing so well i was taking them of the stands by myself holding them even being able to pass them to the people who wanted to take a picture with them and please don’t say it’s animal cruelty but these owls have been rescued and all of them can’t go back in the wild but the ones that could in the past did but anyway and there was a few birds especially the ones that were rescued from an abusive home and if they didn’t enjoy coming out the the stands and seeing people that day we would not take them and take another one that did want to come out but quite often they loved going out people would stoke them feed them sometimes they would be able to go outside and fly just round a little area and keep gaurd if no one was there but unfortunately due to something that happened i couldn’t go anymore it was nothing bad towards them just something that happened with my mum but i’m so grateful for all the experiences i had there and although it was a volunteer i did get paid quite a lot so plus but even if i didn’t get money i would have done it 100%
I have held an owl on my hand and it was the best moment of my life.
