Good article in modern railways uk magazine this month on this station and surroundings which prompted me to take a look at this video. Very nice. Thanks for sharing
Swear it looks like its lifts slightly as it hits the drift. You need a nice heavy loco like oooh say a 27 or 37 plus some cosy Mk1 coaches for this....
Splendid snowplough action. I'd love to see a video of an independent snowplough train hitting the snow like that. If you look for snowplough train videos on youtube, the overwhelming majority of them are American.

Amazing. And 1mm of snow would bring rest of the UK to a halt!
Electrifications downfall haha
And speeds of up to 125mph…
many memories of this place. Once 65 people joined the last southbound train. I had walked round Loch Ossian.
I've lost count, but this is about my 30th time watching...
Why
@@v2iketiit165 its satisfying and you never usually see stuff like this, usually a seperate snow plough train get rid of the snow off the tracks

Excellent video.
How come Geoff Marshall wasn't there with his snow shovel...?
i thought it would use the other platform-liked the way it gave the one finger (or coupling) to the snow
Great video 😊
Wow. Just Wow
To be honest I thought it was going to go the way that was snowploughed
