Acqua Di Gio Profumo is my favourite fragrance of all time. Granted I haven't smelled all that many but wow I am blown away by it. A back up bottle is needed ASAP.
It would be cool if we could do this also by region. I live in Southern California and Spicebomb really isn’t a big thing here although I love it and it’s one of my favorite sometimes it’s just too much for the short winters We have here..

You would think that the anti-Dior Sauvage people are mainly noobs, but there are people that have actual knowledge that will tell you not to buy Dior Sauvage and to instead buy Y EDP. It's so annoying
I’m not anti Sauvage (I actually think it smells fantastic), but I do think Y EDP is a better option these days just since it isn’t quite so played out, and smells a bit more interesting to people who are used to smelling Sauvage on everyone.
With or without the hate, Y EDP is the better blended and safer scent. Ofc that is not a law of physics, but it is the general opinion. But yeah, Sauvage became a victim of its own success.

Spicebomb smells much more pleasant to me than the sharp headache inducing Y EDP, and The one is just a little to dated. The only outcome I disagree with is Y over Dior 👎
Chanel Eau Extreme can beat Profumo. You can wear both in the same situations, but Chanel is of much higher quality and also gets a lot more compliments. Still I love both.
I think the difference maker in the sauvage vs y edp round is sauvages general hate over it's success. mass-appeal, performance, versatility, and scent, sauvage checks all the boxes. to me, sauvage is a better fragrance. of course, that's just one man's opinion

Some cheaper fragrances use a few volatile ingredients but most ingredients used today are fairly stable. The do react to sunlight and humidity however. So keep them cool and dark and they’ll last for decades.
I think people are saying it can be worn even at summer is because the reformulation kinda made it to be less sweet while still maintaining the Eros DNA, for me, the new batches are more mint than the older ones The new EDT is basically a bit watered down EDP thru it's opening and mid, they differ mostly in the drydown
I slats found aqua di gio overrated but maybe cause everyone wore it so it played it out for me. To me scents are memories if you smell like everyone is not really a point to it

I have both and they’re 100% the same except for the Pear note in the opening which is replaced by Apple in 9PM. The pear note in Ultramale is more interesting. It’s not worth the price difference between the 2 but, if we disregard price, Ultramale is just a little bit better because of that pear note (which fades quickly just like the apple note in 9pm)

I don't hear people loving Sauvage Parfum but to me it's the best of he flankers even over Elizer. To me the OG is actually boring which is contrary to what most people think. The Parfum is rich, complex, and takes the OG DNA and makes it sensual yet masculine. The elixir to me is the OG blended with an old school barbershop which I think take the frag in two contradictory directions. Just saying.... to my nose.

This mashup made no sense to me- should have been which is best for so and so occasion vs the best of the brand. Ysl Y edp is a clubbing scent- it would have fit better into the 1 million and eros category not sauvage edp- sauvage edp is more versatile casual/ chill where y edp is more playful. Spice bomb extreme is also far more casual (even despite the vanilla) vs the romantic alluring the one edp. if you come to an end of spice bomb vs adg profumo- theres literally no competition lol complete opposite seasons and even occasions that serve different purposes therefore theres no real battle.
Ysl y is not a clubbing scent. Its a vlue fresh fragrance that can wear casually on a daily basis, day time hot weather, to night time too. Its very versatile but really its more for a daily casual wear, and like i said versatile, can be office, work, gym, dinner, dates, clubbing. Versatility. There are perfumes that are mainly for clubbing.

I'd still take Y EDP as the most versatile over Profumo but that wasn't the criteria. I would have just put them ALL on a list and have everyone just vote for their fave and present them in a list by popularity vote in total. Awesome work still.
Y is not that versatile tho. I mean its a blue frag, so sure, its reasonably versatile, but the other two out of the big 3 blue frags are so much more versatile

The problem I have with Lhomme rochas is that its just a better version/clone of bogart pour homme from Jacques bogart. Unimpressed. Regetted that blind buy.
YSL Y edp is incredible. It just smells great and lasts ages. I can't get tired of it. It's my favourite blue fragrance.

The problem I have with Lhomme rochas is that its just a better version/clone of bogart pour homme from Jacques bogart. Unimpressed. Regetted that blind buy.
