    I swear to you, every time Dave breaks out a "jumbo box of comedy", it's always a highlight. I had never seen that "Real Christmas Toys" segment before. I was in tears from laughing. Especially with the banter with Dave and Paul.

    I recall the 1986 Toy Fair clip and cracking up over the Schwarzenegger/Liberace action figure comparison!

    • @mr.pavone9719
      @mr.pavone9719 3 года назад +1

      Notice he claims the Schwarzenegger doll is the tallest MILITARY doll on the market. At the time GI JOE was just under 4" tall.
      A Liberace doll could never be big enough to capture his essence.

    My sister designs toys and Toy Fair was a huge deal, at least back in the day. I don't think she's made that trip in many years.

    @13:02 Feb 27th 1986. The day I was born 🐣 I'm taking a screen cap of this episode. Am I the only one who appreciates content from the same date as their birth? Like... For example, when I saw the Feb 1986 National Geographic at a thrift store... I HAD to buy it.

    This may be a longshot but does anyone know where I can find the episode of Letterman where he did a spot pretending that the show had to be cut short for time and he showed a clip of someone - I think Kelsey Grammer? - walking onto the set, saying one word, and then cutting to him immediately walking away? It was from somewhere around the late 90s I think. I've hardly ever laughed so hard but now I don't know how to find the clip.

    All those Cabbage Patch Kids knock offs feel like everybody trying to figure out how to sell NFTs these days, everybody knows it's a fad and they're just throwing crap at it hoping some brings a quick buck before it ends.

    • @mr.pavone9719
      @mr.pavone9719 3 года назад

      It's funny cuz so many of the people producing those knockoffs don't really understand what made them so cool to begin with.

    • @mudmudmudmudmud7605
      @mudmudmudmudmud7605 2 года назад

      Now some NFTs are selling for crazy money. It's got to be a ponzi scheme or a way to launder money or tax evasion.

    Hi Don, you know, I really appreciate your work on this channel.
    I also appreciate your consideration for David Letterman's feelings, regardless whether he did or didn't share any theoretical concerns with you.
    With all this respect that I've got for David Letterman and for you, I think we are mature enough to watch the "Stephanie Birkitt Collection on Letterman". Seriously.
