    The reason why it floods during bad tide is because an edge can only handle 2.2 cms so in total what you wanted for acceleration is leading to less water flow. You should either add more edges by removing a water wheel and adding platform with an impermeable tile that way you get 3 edges on one platform but make it alternate.

      Doesn't the dam pieces at the end of the power wheel strips also contribute to slowing the flow rate in the channel (and eventual flooding) by causing the flow to backup?

    Why not dynamite the reservoir to deepen it so you can have more water? Is there a bad tide cap you can use to make it unlimited power, or is it just for the iron teeth only?

      That's definitely something I'll be doing, but I'm going to wait until I add in a few buildings up there before blasting everything out. And yea, the badwater cap thing only works for Ironteeth. The Folktails have a dome but it doesn't suck out the badwater unfortunately :(

      You could add 1x2 & a 1x3 overhangs to put levees on.

      Hmm, do you mean sealed from the badwater creep? It's already sealed with the contamination barriers and no badwater is making it out of that channel.
