The truth about tithing is that today's version of tithing has no biblical precedent so it can't be seen as an act of biblical obedience. And yes, money was widely traded and wages were earned in biblical times, yet consumable items were specified as a tithe deliverable. There's nothing wrong with choosing to tithe as a discretionary act of systematic giving, there's just no biblical mandate for anyone to continually pay any percentage of their earned wages to a religious institution, and there never was.
It's Is Not Biblical to tithe.
It's Nit Biblical to pay a pastor a salary.
Jesus and Apostle Paul supported themselves.
It Is Biblical to feed Jesus.
Jesus is still hungry around the world.

Don't forget that it was only of agricultural produce within the land of Israel, and only for the Israelites. The tithe was to be taken to the Levitical cities, who then selected the best 10% of what was received, and give that to the priests in the temple. Then there is the festival tithe for the four yearly feasts, and there was also the poor tithe once every three years. Don't hear much preached about them.
Because :tithing' today can not be and is not supposed to be like it was before (in the OT); we should be now talking about giving rather than tithing.
It’s convenient to neglect 1Cor.16:1-2; 2Cor. 9:6-7 where it directly addresses proper giving. In 1Cor. Paul speaks to immature christians, 2Cor. he speaks to the same group that appears to have grown. I wonder if he believes in replacement theology where the church has taken the place of Israel. By the way, N. T. tithing is a Catholic doctrine. Charlemagne in 777AD tried to implement it, didn’t go so well. Council of Trent Macon 585, and the Council of Trent (15th century) where if you didn’t tithe, you were excommunicated from the church.
Is it a sin when I give tithe to GOD or to His Church?
It’s your opinion but not the Bible , Pastors use to dress more respectfully in the church instead of casual dress in the sanctuary.
Giving and offering is indeed appreciated in the new covenant. But not clearly tithing. Moreover, commandments in the OT perspective must not be understood in the New Covenant at all, Bro. When you no longer live or act instead Christ lives in us, and grace enables us to live through the Holy Spirit to follow the instructions and guidelines given in the New covenant. Only thing know the truths thru the word and be filled and stay filled with the Holy Spirit, so that one can be guided by the grace. Please don't put people into fear by preaching twisted Word. Give and it shall be given unto you. How many "pastors" give tithe? Because they understood tithing in the OT, a prerogative of levites. Preaching through experience is more effective than bringing man-made systems into professed Christianity 😢 43:29 47:07

I don't listen the preachers to direct my life.
I listen to them to see if they need to be corrected.
Praise God, God's people are awaking up to the deliberate lies of the "tithe". These lying preachers need to be reminded of the eternal destination of LIERS.
