Love your videos, and loved the fact that your son is extremely capable with his sewing machine , good job mum! I’m just getting into sewing and find your tutorials very helpful thank you 🤗
I love your tutorials because you make "making" things look so easy...almost like even we could make them! A fun series that I would LOVE is if you do like a mini series on projects that you can make in less than 30 minutes. You are such an incredible resource!
Vanessa, I just love you. I have been tasked with making kids aprons for my daughter's day care group. Seeing how you made these aprons lets me know it can be done super easy and I don't have to stress. And isn't Tuesday Morning great for finding all kinds of different craft and sewing goodies?! You never know what you're going to find. And you're right, if you see something you need, you better grab them all because the next time you visit they will be gone!
Thanks so much for this tutorial! I am a total beginner in sewing, I got my machine two days ago lol, but was able to make this for my three year old, she loves it!
Vanessa, you always have something in your sewing arsenal for everyone. I needed a quick and easy apron for a 4 year old and i knew to turn to you. Thanks again for all your free, great tutorials.
I just wanted to thank you for all the projects you share. I especially liked the children's aprons and the zippered pouch key chain. I'm still working on the aprons as I'm planning to measure the children this weekend. The zipper pouches are so easy and fun to make. I have made a bunch for a Christian organization that helps people. Thanks again for sharing. Arlene
Thank you so much. I made this for my niece with matching pillowcases. I haven’t sewn in a long time thank you for the inspiration. It was super easy. I do not have a way to print the pattern so I improvised. I was watching another video making kids apron with a tea towel. So that’s what I did. It was for my six-year-old niece turned out really cute. Thank you thank you
Thank you for this very easy apron. My daughter is a kindergarten teacher and needed aprons in her kitchen area. I chose very fun fabrics for boys(cars, bugs) and girls(flowers, disney) and they loved them. We are now making more to go along with the seasons and the lessons for the month so that she can change them out as needed.
This was so much fun making. My granddaughter loved painting the pocket. My 2 other grandchildren still need to paint the pocket. I will try to put pics up on FB soon. TY for the awesome project. You make it so easy & fun
My grandchildren are very young, but I already have them learning the buttons on the sewing machine and doing little things that little hands can do. Great video!
Wonderful video! I am in England so no Tuesday Morning Shop but the markets are good for bargains. You children are so cute. When I saw your son sewing i hit the subscribe button! 😀
Thank you for such a clear tutorial! Also, super excited because I'm able to use my stash and not have to go buy any specialty stuff. My niece and nephew are going to be so excited to have their own aprons for when they help their parents (and aunt) in the kitchen.
Awesome Vanessa! I didn't know that Tuesday Morning sold fat quarters and I just paid top dollar for about five spools of ribbon! I could kick myself! But now I know! Thanks for the tip!
What measurements did you use for your older child? The apron I want to sew is for my grandaughter who is a 5 year old child in Italy. She is a bit tall last I knew is that she was wearing size 7 hoodie when she was 4 years old. I like your tutorials
thanks for your tutorial. they are so cute. I do have a question though, how would you add a lining if you wanted to? Alot of cotton fabric it thin and apron fabric should be a bit thicker. thank you
I'm really enjoying your videos. Very informative. Even your small children have the know-how. I would love to see a tutorial for the quilt behind you in this video. (Patriotlc Friendship Star) I know how to make the block but is there an easy way to it together without laying out the whole quilt and sewing in order? Thank you for the hours of enjoyment.
Didn't know that Tuesday Morning had fabric, ribbons, etc. Thanks for sharing!!!! Also, do you have a boxy cosmetic lined video that's not quilted? I'm having trouble when I sew the zipper... What I mean is I'm either sewing the zipper too much at the beginning or end of the zipper... Then I'm having difficulty when sewing the last part of the bag... or should I say when I do the final sewing of the bag... when the liner and main fabric have to be seen separately before turning it inside out... Does this make sense? None of the videos that I have watched focus on this part : /
I enjoy all your videos! Your like a sewing pal!!!
I've been sewing for over 55 years and I still take away ideas from this crafty young lady. You go girl!!!

Thanks for the clear and simple apron pattern. I have that same sewing machine and can’t wait to use it to make aprons for my granddaughters!
I remember making aprons similar to these when my kids were little. Your kids are so cute! One of these days I'll have to find a Tuesday Morning.
My grandchildren are very young, but I already have them learning the buttons on the sewing machine and doing little things that little hands can do. Great video!
