I wasn’t born anywhere near when the revenge of the Sith sets came out in 2005, but yet I still love all of them. The same can be said for literally all sets before that. They just have the classic LEGO charm. The thing is, the sets that I grew up with, I don’t have any nostalgia with them.
When I got some old sets from 2005 myself (for nostalgic reasons, Im 24 myself lol) I must say that I found a new appreciation for how much Lego sets have improved especially in the stability aspect.
5:10 No, I agree. the 05' version oddly gives the look of how thin the ship is in universe more then the lastest versions. I love all of the eta-2s lego has made though
Nice video, but personally even as a child, I always hated the stud shooters. In general, I just prefered the blasters as they were way cooler and I'd imagine the "shot" anyways.
@@BenTheBrickBuilder Yeah I know but with how easy it is to lose them it’s likely to happen a few times. Also I prefer the look of actual blasters as well. It’s a cool gimmick though
I also got the 2009 lego starwars visual dictionary at my elementary school's bookfare! no clue where it is now, but I have a ton of nostalgia for the sets I stared at but never owned from that book. That buzz saw droid with two heads is just lodged in my subconscious apparently (watched later in the video, I had the palpatine shuttle too! I think that one got scrapped for the parts in record time lol)

Agreed

That’s fair, but I can remember having western duels with my friends with the stud shooters
Yeah I’ve never liked them, it’s way to easy to lose the studs
@@williamcooper8599 that’s why there’s an extra

I love that buzz droid, palps shuttle is a peak set
As someone who's re-living their childhood now I have to say that getting a set I've always wanted now makes me feel like a kid again.
That’s exactly how I’m feeling too
3:08 BENeral Grievous made me LOL 😂 Great cozy video on nostalgia, Ben. I appreciate you sharing your honest opinions too!
😂 Glad you enjoyed!
I'm not much of a star wars fan (says the guy who has the UCS death star (2nd edition)) but I must admit, a lot of it is pretty cool
That is a pretty sweet set
