Smug is the hero Dudley players deserve, definitely one of the world's best right now.

The fact that Smug forced Momochi to use Juri shows how dangerous Smug would have gotten if Momochi stuck with Ken. Good show on both players!

This was the best match of CEO, the hype was palpable.
Smug won this tournament in my mind. I think with more major tournament play he will only get better. It's so hype watching characters you don't usually see at majors being played at a high level. Much respect to momochi and smug for making street fighter hype again with their character choices. Meanwhile it's boring watch infiltration akuma play.
Smug is a solid player much respect.

USA! USA! Is it so wrong to feel pride for a fellow countryman and show some support? Have you never cheered on an Olympic athlete or team from your homeland, JUST because they're from your homeland?
If you can't relate to national pride, it must really suck where you live.
And if that sentence made you feel anything, any twinge of defensiveness, any emotion at all -- then go right ahead and start talking about how great your homeland is, how the women are beautiful and the men are proper men. Maybe then you'll get it!
To me the main point of this for Smug is more experience. It would obviously be awesome if he did well, but he's still young so even if he doesn't do too hot this time he can grow and get better and come back with a better showing next time.

Well thats the Feng Shui Engine. If (in this case) you're moderately on health and she has frame advantage and can combo into way more stuff, you'd be running too. :P But I think its more of a case of Smug learning what to do in the future in that situation.

No other country in the world chants their countries name in a effort to show support. I've never heard "Ger-many!" or "Spain!" being yelled at a sports event or a game tourney. It takes away from the players skill and manages to give credit to america. Patriotism is the most useless thing you can have at a fgc tourney because nationality/race isnt a measure of ones personal skill.
