If you add all the elements I discussed (Finding Nemo example) in this tutorial, then your underwater scenes will leave people in awe.

I just spent an entire day trying to do that. Almost gave up then your video popped up in my notifications. This is a really strange coincidence

Excellent, although i will add to anyone trying this and uses Spectral rendering in daz studio, DO NOT apply the Abbe at the end... this does NOT work the same, and tbh looks excellent without it.

This looks great; however, I cannot use the Iray Render Engine. My PC is not capable of handling it. So I must work with the 3Delight Render Engine. Obviously there are things that Iray can do that cannot be done with 3Delight, but I know that something similar can be done with 3Delight.
Now to add a small correction to your language. You call the effect of light refraction in water "causistics", which according to Google's dictionary for English is not an actual word. Indeed, it is putting a red squiggly underscore under the word as you pronounce it. The actual word is "caustics", which has one less syllable than the way you say it.
My apologies for the correction of your use of the word, but with such a mistaken pronunciation, people can actually be confused. Other than this little problem, I think your tutorial is very helpful, but just for those who can use the Iray Render Engine. I need a tutorial that explains how to do this using DAZ Studio's 3Delight Render Engine. If the procedure is similar to this one, I will be happy, because now I already have learned much from this tutorial. For that, I thank you!🙂

I do receive similar comments from people saying the same thing about my pronunciations of certain words in my videos. I am human and I make mistakes. All I can say is I will do better in the next video.

Hi, new subscriber here. Can you share your hardware spec?

      Thank you for the question.
When I started Daz Studio in December 2018 I had the following PC Specs:
      Intel Q6600 CPU
      16GB RAM
      Nvidia Geforce 6600 GT
My current PC Specs in 2021:
      Intel i7-8700k
      64gb ram
1TB samsung ssd evo (Daz Studio is installed on this drive)
8gb nvidia geforce 1070ti graphics cards
With the current render settings that I use for my graphic novel it takes between 1-2 hours for a render. This all depends on the amount of geometry (characters, clothes, props) in the scene and the type of lighting (HDRI, emissive lights, spotlights). In short a powerful nvidia graphics card with a large number of cuda cores and large vram will speed up your renders.

Love your content mate, ive been using daz for a few years now but i still pick new things up from your videos.. I do have a question though regarding the new gens V8 by 3feetwolf, do you have any idea how to get it to display correctly on 8.1? i'm not sure if it's a UV issue or the fact that new gens V8 torso map is named "torso" and the same surface name on 8.1 is named "Body". I've made some edits to the actual code by changing the map names but it still doesnt display correctly so any help would be welcome.

Thanks for your kind comment and your question. Unfortunately, I am unable to help you because the content you are referring to is adult content and I don't support any adult content created with Daz Studio as it goes against my core values.

Parmy to the rescue yet again!
I didn't get the God rays, but it came up so good.
    Thanks, my good man.
One question if I may. At one point you quickly go to your render settings. Do you have a video of the best settings to make the best, eye watering renders?

    • @ParmyBaddhan
      @ParmyBaddhan  Год назад

There are no "best settings" to create eye watering renders. The render settings will depend on the scene you are creating, the lighting and items in the scene. I will share my render settings in a future tutorial.

      @@ParmyBaddhan Thank you!
I think 90% of my renders are based on what I've learned from you.

It's so annoying how you keep saying causistics. It's CAUSTICS!

I put a similar statement in my comment, before reading the comments already posted. I am very well educated in the English language, so I know a lot about word pronunciation. The word as it is spoken in the tutorial is not even in the English dictionary, and even Google puts a red squiggly underscore under it when I spell it the way it is spoken here. The added syllable can be confusing to listeners who wish to know what the word means.
