The use of the cables for adding tension on the back and getting plumb was a great idea. Awesome job, Mark!

@@RemarkableWoodworks I would love to see that. That’s the most attractive design for a patio cover I’ve seen.

Nice pergola. I invested in a crimping tool and crimps for cable wire years ago that I use rarely, but when I have to use it, is a whole lot better than cable clamps. Good job!

never saddle a dead horse. always put the u-bolt over the dead of the cable. if you put the saddle over it you lose about 50 percent of the strength

Awesome video man! Really enjoyed this one and I'll take anything I can get about that pergola. Though I think we need to have a talk about your outro music. I thought we agree in the divorce I got to keep that tune 😂

Looks great. Love the curve, little windows, and cable tie trick. One of the best executions I've seen. But I wish you showed more of how you connected the cable tie at the top. It sort of looks like you drilled a hole through the post and connected it to the end of the cantilever? I imagine over time that wire will widen the hole in the post. Just curious. I'm trying to figure out how to do a similar style. Thanks for the video.
