    Can you make a break down of your go to simple shapes you use to construct arms? Arms have so many little muscles I find it hard to simplify and get the idea across properly

      I think a good start is the chain method it requires less details to make look like an actual arm than a cylinder but not as simple.

    I'm struggling with to find landmarks on references with clothes, do you have any tips how to find them or maybe somehow create my own landmarks on each reference?

    • @drake_otaku_artist
      @drake_otaku_artist  Год назад +1

      Like your trying to picture the anatomy under peoples clothes? If that’s the case I would just not worry about it and focus on references without clothes or very little and focus on the anatomy, after you get good enough you can see the anatomy under the clothes, well a estimated guess.

    • @drake_otaku_artist
      @drake_otaku_artist  Год назад +1

      Or are you just trying to learn to draw clothes, either way you’d still be good with knowing some basic anatomy like how long the arms and stuff are compared to the torso and how long they hang down

    Where did you learn anatomy?

    • @drake_otaku_artist
      @drake_otaku_artist  11 дней назад +1

      @@Drawnotes I was studying morphos simplified forms before this video and put a lot of that to use. I studied constructive anatomy by Bridgman and that had the biggest effect on my anatomy

    Arw you drawing from reference or imagination

      Some of both, in this video I was studying from morpho simplified series for the ones that are from reference

    • @drake_otaku_artist
      @drake_otaku_artist  5 месяцев назад

      I hate where I’m at right now in terms of home situation and a lot of other problems. Honestly there’s not much you can do but work with what you got. Enough hard work and you’ll be able overcome the tuff times. It won’t always be like that as long as you work hard enough to get out of that situation. For now just do what you can

      @@drake_otaku_artist I’ve been “drawing” for like 6 years and am only now starting to do anatomy, I get so darn frustrated when smiths not perfect, (I have a BIG case of perfectionism)

    • @drake_otaku_artist
      @drake_otaku_artist  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@swxftsss that’s just something you’ll have to break by drawing a lot. After you get used to drawing and understand it a little the perfectionism usually goes away

      Well it doesn’t tie you down from drawing something without it being perfect
