Park Hill is beautiful and amazing in so many ways. An inspiration on thousand upon thousands of buildings across Europe throughout the sixties. It's the conform, conservative, small-minded and bourgeois people who don't see the beauty of these historic, cultural and social important buildings as they were, and still are.
Wen they sed they would finsh it by 2017 😂😂🙈 oh dear she still looks like she has for past 2 years onley just started to board it off ready for work there's still loads to do I reckon it won't be done till after 2020 👎🏻 witch is a massive shame to say they have had well over 12 years to get it done and they have onley managed one section and a bit so far 😣 grait video tho 👌 allways had a soft spot for park hill flats so many memories going past it to get to the city centre

Thanks for the comments. I totally agree with you. In my home town there is an ongoing argument regarding a similar building, The Civic Centre. Thankfully it has been saved from destruction and is soon to be given a new lease of life and once again become the Jewel in the Crown of the City
Park Hill is Brutalism on a grand scale but I like it . I am totally against Urban Splash only having 200 as affordable homes reason being they will not be affordable to your average worker in Sheffield or any where else !!
