There is only one major problem with this theory; due to state law, once the deadline has been reached, a candidate cannot be replaced on the ballot. For some states, the deadline has passed, thus, Trump wins those Electoral Votes by default. One of these states in which the deadline has passed is the "swing state" of Wisconsin.

I've heard multiple times that it's Jill saying no to Joe dropping out. And we all know this is Obama's third term, so it's not far fetched to think he's very spot on with what's happening right now.
