Javea port or Javea Harbour as some call it is a must visit if you are on the Costa blanca. Enjoy many shops, restaurants, (tapas) bars and the pretty La Grava beach alongside the promenade lined with lovely palm trees in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy excellent seafood restaurants fantastic harbour and sea views. Javea Port is the location of many Javea fiestas & festivals, including the fantastic Moors and Christians parade in July, and the Saint Mare de Deu de Loreto celebrations.
The sculptures on the promenade are changed every year. Located at the north end of the promenade, Javea’s marina still functions as a fishing port with the fishing fleet arriving back in port at least once a day and yachts moored in the same vicinity. A market opens to sell the fresh produce caught by the fishermen. Walk past the harbour and 'Club Náutico' and you will come to the small beach named 'Playa del Pope' or 'Playa del Tangó'.
A costal paradise that has managed to keep a lot of its spanish heritage, injected with a lot of tourists and holiday makers every summer.
