It's great to visit a city hosting the Olympics. Also, the French national football team ⚽️is currently playing in "EURO 2024 in Germany", and if they champion, I think the city will be incredibly excited.⚽️🇫🇷🏆🥳
Just returned from Paris and had a fantastic time. I have been to Paris since birth and speak French. I love the Île St Louis. Thanks for your video…I sure miss Paris.
Oh man this is making me miss Paris…i havent been there since 2017, and i was so happy that i went into Norte Dame there on a whim…considering what has happened now, I’m glad i did. I never did go into Saint Chapelle and now i definitely want to go inside…the windows are absolutely stunning.
It's a really fascinating city. Thanks for the amazing tour. The people waving at you from the boat were probably tourists thinking you were a local friendly french girl 😊
Sorry but with the red beret, there is no way people could think you are French. Only tourists were berets in Paris. I am not saying that to be mean, it's just true. The only persons wearing berets in France are old sheperds in Pays Basque, South west of France. And I know this because not only I am French but I am also a Parisian.
I liked the reason why that area of the Sorbonne University was called the “Latin Quarter.” Didn’t know that they spoke Latin back then amongst the students and the in the churches etc. Thank you for the video.
Renata your French is pretty good! Love your Paris vlog. Loved that city. We need to go back. It’s such a great city to walk. You guys saw a lot. Cheers!

The original spire was less high than the Viollet-le-Duc's one. It was dismanted about 1780/85, just before the revolution because the spire was going to collapse. Viollet-le-Duc rebuilt a new one (much higher) in the XIX century
Renata:Welcome to Paris, France in great joy & peace this weekend with your lovely husband Mr. Gordon in June of 2024❤❤❤I wish you guys the BEST always in Europe 2024❤❤❤

Paris is of my favourite cities in the world, but not when Muslims pray in the streets. The last time I was in Paris, I stayed for a week, but I knew I could easily spend a _month_ there, without even getting to any other European cities!
Renata:Welcome to Paris, France for you guys to watches the amazing “Olympic Games” that is going to be held in July of 2024 with many competitors from different countries across the globe in 2024❤❤❤
@@RenataPereiraTV Yes, I know. But a beret in any shade now screams "tourist!" Of course, a history of French fashion references the popularity of the beret, notably in black. But this hat style is now dépassé. I just googled 'do Parisians wear berets?' Actually both light and lights are wrong. The correct translation of lumière from French would be enlightenment. But as both light and lights are widely adopted in English, that’s what we end up using

Paris was not one of my favourite cities, in the 70's the traffic was horrendous, pedestrians put their lives at risk as drivers ignored the rules of the road, as for their parallel parking if the gap wasn't large enough they enlarged it, every 2CV or Renault 4 was very battered. One needed a reasonable command of French as Parisians' refused to speak English even if fluent with it. They just laughed behind one's back at one's pathetic attempt at French. The Eiffel Tower was a temporary structure when erected for a Great Exhibition but they fell in love with it and the City Authorities kept it. The same as the Crystal Palace in Hyde Park, London, that was relocated and destroyed by a fire in the late 30's.
C’est tout à fait ça, la France la musique tout ça fait Paris quoi ça change du rap hein qu’est-ce que c’est devenu c’est quoi l’Afrique là qui a débarqué chez nous😂

Bonjour Renata. What a wonderful city, Paris is such a lovely city. Merci beaucoup.
One of the main reasons I wanted so much for an opportunity to work and live in Europe is learning their heritage and legacy. C'est la vie.
I have a leather jacket that has the word nortre dame at the back, I bought it at a sports shop in Seville, Spain, 1996.
