Ive been going to anime conventions for years but this con is one of my favorite, its less packed and the community there is really welcoming and willing to chat and make connections, at least in my experience because its more niche the experience can be a lot more calmer that anime cons haha
the booth with the giant charlie brown head and the edward scissorhands doll was serifs & whiskey! i went back to that booth like three times during the show to browse those toys. they also had a gorgeous billboard size poster for the 50s film ransom on their back wall, spent a little while looking at that

I actually have the elephant and rabbit from kodama toy, and I had no idea they were designer toys. They were bought for me and were not in any packaging so I assumed they were not really branded, so it's nice to know where they come from

wow, I knew Tokidoki was an Italian company but i'm shocked to find out thats it not popular there, thats so wild! they definitely put a lot of effort marketing and selling it here in the states, although I dont think its as popular as it used to be as it was in the early 2010s
