Day 2 of the JK-Experience Rocky Mountain Run would take us south toward the town of Buena Vista, Colorado, and to the trail that a majority in our group would run for the day, Chinaman Gulch. At the trailhead, the option of running the infamous Carnage Canyon BV trail was also given to those willing to risk substantial damage to their rigs and, of the 22 JK's we had, 4 would choose to join EVO 1 in taking on the carnage including, Project-JK's, Moby Dick! Episode 2 highlights our run up this short, "nasty ass" trail as Mel liked to call it, and then follows us as we made a mad dash east with the hopes of being able to climb to the top of Pikes Peak before they closed.
For one week during the month of September, 22 Jeep JK Wranglers from around the country and from as far as Canada, gathered in the state of Colorado to traverse almost 1,000 miles though the breathtaking Rocky's, explore famous historic mining towns and, take on some of the most challenging off-road trails that can be found anywhere. This is the Off Road Evolution JK Experience Rocky Mountain Run, presented by Falken Tire, and this is the story of the Jeepers who came looking for an adventure and found what it means to "KEEP IT TIGHT".
More than just a Jeep, it's a way of life!
My wife and I watch your videos, and re watch your videos. We are both Jeep owners and your channel is one of the biggest reasons for it. With that said, after seeing Cindy navigate “carnage” in this video, she has dubbed Cindy as her “spirit animal” and has continuously inspired her to peruse her Jeeping ambitions. Thank you both for these amazing videos, and we definitely hope to see you on the trail some day.

Jeep ought to pay you guys. After watching each vid about at least 20 times and subscribing to Wayalife Joining Project-JK. My wife and I have decided we just can't live without a New JK Rubicon. So the plan is to get serious in august and look at the new Jeeps. Thanks guys. You just cost us $35,000 bucks and I am lovin it..

Oh, I'm sure you're right but, we enjoy making our videos with music and will continue to do so. After all, if we didn't enjoy what we did, we wouldn't be doing it. I would recommend that guys like him make their own videos and do it however they want :)

LOL!! that's an old school tool called a hubber. it's to help you lock and lock manual hubs. unfortunately, my hands just aren't what they used to be.

Did carnage many times over the decade . Spring creek and Cross creek, Holly cross also good. Was my back yard when I lived in Denver went every weekend.

We were under time constraints - were trying to make it out to Pikes Peak on the same day. Needless to say, we weren't given a chance to try it without a winch.
Love the video .. Even though my JK is not as bad ass as then ones in the your videos I make me even prouder to own a JK. See that line of JKs gives me goose bumbs... nice job!!

Suspension wise, they are the same. Where EVO 1 is still better is in the fact that it's a lot lighter, stiffer (due to it's cage) and designed for maximum HP and the ability to use it. Of course, EVO 1 is pretty much a trailer queen now too. Moby is 100% a daily driver with AC and a sound system and is never trailered anywhere. We intend to keep it that way.

4.88 will bring you back up to about stock and 5.13's will give you a bit more power. You'll need to make sure that you calibrate your speedo correctly too.

It should rev higher across the board as you now are running a higher ratio. This should be a good thing.

there are 2 different carnage canyons - this was "carnage canyon buena vista" and it is very much open.
beautiful place to crawl amazing area. you boy have some big stones.
