You're welcome. I think the pricing for the vintage model of this bag is highly dependable on the condition of the bag. The newer model is generally more expensive than these vintage ones with leather interiors... ☺
I just bought the Mini Amazone from ebay japan seller and the leather tabs had some cracking. I took it to my local LV store for a repair but it’ll be worth the price. Excited to get it back in a week after seeing your video 😊
@@petiteluxenoir5741 It costs $120 per tab or >$1000 for all the leather to be repaired. I did 2 tabs so $240 CAD. Cut the old moldy shoulder piece leather off so it wouldn't be such an obvious contrast in patina vs no-patina. I brushed on olive oil a few times to the new leather tabs so they would match the rest of the piping better. Very happy with the repair so now I can use the bag with confidence that it won't rip!
@@petiteluxenoir5741 If I knew it was such an easy fix, I wouldn't have spent so much time looking for a decent condition Mini Amazone. I would have bought a really beat up one (in terms of the tabs), knowing I was going to replace the tabs anyway. That way, saves money overall.
Thanks for the information - super helpful. Guess the pricing wasn’t so bad but I wonder if it’s gone up now since your repair was 6 months ago.
