- These are the top ten movies that I have seen so far in my home theater. This is an update and expansion on my top five home theater movies from earlier in this year. Check out that video here: • Top 5 Home Theater Movies
My ranking is completely subjective. Its based on my overall home theater experience: audio, video and how good the movie is itself. It does not have to be the best at anything. Just a great home theater experience. For a list of my favorite home theater movie scenes for audio and video only here: • Top 5 Home Theater Mov...

Lucy rarely gets a mention on most 4k home theater movies but it's probably one of the most visually appetizing films I've ever seen.
I may grab that. I have heard its a good home theater movie. I saw it a long time again. Not in my home theater.
Pacific Rim, Godzilla vs Kong, Saving Private Ryan, Fury, Top Gun Maverick, Mad Max Fury Road, Dark Knight, John Wick 3, Gladiator, Transformers collection. My top 10 not in order but must have. Mcu movies have no Imax scenes so Disney plus is better to watch on your TV.
U-571, Den of Thieves, Sciarro, Star is Born
Glad to see you here. How about Ready player one sir?
I haven't seen U-571 in forever. I need to find it and watch it again. Good movie.
OMG. U-571 the bass knocked stuff off my table a room away. I dare not play that movie with the sub I have now. Good choice
@@gralen - Depth Charge Scene?
@@bkrhino1 Yep. I had a Velodyne with a 12 inch. I have a SVS with a 13 inch that shakes the floor. I had a glass on my table when the depth charges were going. I heard the glass fall on the floor.
If you haven’t seen it, highly recommend Ex machine. Great movie and soundtrack!
Godzilla(2014) is an amazing must for sound test.
Its been awhile. I will have to check that out in my home theater.
The new Dune movies 🔥
My top movies are Bruce Lee enter the dragon Jaws John wick 1to 4 Star Trek The wrath of Khan aliens all Ip movies
Lawrence of Arabia for those stunning landscapes.
Love the movie selection! I agree on all. Although Tenet movie made me fall asleep...I don't know why! Haha and what about INTERSTELLAR!
Thank you! I really enjoyed Interstellar but I wasn't the biggest fan of the end.
@@stillbluehometheater1056 What do you think about *The Human Centipede* movie ? 😊
Tenet is a bit overrated 👍
What are the sound formats? Battle LA and U571 in DTS ,TrueHD or DTS-X kicks on home systems.
12 Strong on Blu-ray has a Slamming audio track
I have six of those and seen 5. I Ad Astra but have not seen it yet. Tenet I seen in surround but on streaming
Good movoes to showcase your home theater in no particular order...
Ready player one
Kong skull island
Jurassic Park
Dark Knight
Matrix
Skyfall
Aliens
Saving Private Ryan
Winter Solider
Spiderman no way home
Excellent list. In this video, I am ranking the movies that I enjoyed and gave me a great experience. They don’t necessarily have to be reference quality. Here is my list of what in my opinion are reference quality showcase movie scenes: ruclips.net/video/xgKkLuHGVgo/видео.html Regardless of whether I enjoyed these movies, these in my opinion are demo-worthy scenes.
Avengers no IMAX is a deal breaker
PACIFIC RIM 😍😍😍 I GOT YOU
Such a fun movie with lots of cool scenes. And, maybe the best 3D presentation I have seen.
Predator, Ronin, Gravity, Dune, Rampage, John Wick 2, Iam Legend, Matrix Trilogy, The Revanent, Saving Private Ryan, ....Sorry no Marvel
Marvel movies have no Imax scenes.
