I read a lot of comments on yt people hating on Rams. I took Randys advice and got one. Its older and just passed 100k. No issues whatsoever after a year and a half ownership.
I know everyone talks poorly on rams but they are great trucks ive never had any Major issues with the past ones I’ve had. I currently have a 2020 ram 1500 Laramie with the hemi truck has 130k miles and has been amazing. I’ve only had to do minor repairs such as a battery and a starter and I just did the water pump.
each their own on trucks, had a 2013 f150 5.0 sold it with 132,000 miles. Ran perfectly fine, battery was only issue cuz i never drove it enough. Just sat for long periods
Wow Randy! You had a vehicle for a year... That may be a record for you. I think it says a lot about the truck, too. I never thought about buying a Ram until I started watching your channel.
Bought a 2022 F150 STX FX4 brand new, it has been awesome, now has 40,000miles on it, rotated the tires when needed and changed the oil, runs and drives great, I like the Ram glad it’s holding up well.
I have looked at the F150 but I'm a bit hesitant with the V6 compared to the Ram's V8. Though I'd have to be quick as Stellantis has said they will no longer be making the Ram V8 and it will only come with the V6.
Hey Randy I’ve been watching the channel since 2019 you’re one of my favorites RUclipsr I would love to meet you one day. Have a great rest of your day
Looks like the truck held up very well in the year you had it. It's a good looking truck and seems pretty fun to drive as a daily. Glad you like this truck and that its been strong and reliable
Hey Randy, I just watched your one-year ownership of your Dodge ram. I am very happy that you’re happy with it. I’m very excited that you have had that job for a year and you’ve had nothing but good luck out of it. I hope you keep it from a long long time I guess I’ll talk to you soon buddy have a good rest your day and I can’t wait to see your next video. Whatever you have planned buddy I’ll talk to you later see ya man.
Now that's a truck I need! Comfort, for sure. I drive about 500 miles a week back and forth to work, and I had just gotten an upgrade to a 19 Chevy Equinox with very good gas mileage and very smooth handling. It was low mileage when I got it from my uncle, who had recently passed away, but I love to have this kind of truck as a second vehicle.
We have a 23 rebel and it has been a phenomenal vehicle that we don't regret purchasing new in may of 23, although there has been some annoying recalls, we still love our ram it has just under 10k miles, we've towed with it a few times, driven to california and back to az without issues!
I have a 2019 Bighorn well spec’d out with the Level 2 package and LED lighting. 39k miles, also Hemi non-eTorque and 4x4 ! No problems except the leaky rear window that was replaced under warranty ! ❤ love it so far too 😉 Paid $35.5 on a $50665 sticker !
I have a 2019 ram 1500 classic with the hemi in it and it’s a damn good truck. It just turned 90,200 miles only thing I’ve done with it is put tires and brakes and change the oil.
Not a hater of RAM - I was waiting for the REV to be released but my need to purchase a replacement came to a head this summer and I pulled the trigger on the SEV. I was never planing to stay with any form of ICE, turbo, Diesel - whatever the operating cost is way too high and the ability to opt out for the SEV - out weighed any nostalgia I had for a rumbling sound while driving. Several months in and like Randy here my use of the SEV is to tow auction vehicles in and out of the yards for my business is better on my wallet. And unlike randy I use the SEV as a daily driver too. Randy has a nice RAM shown here and so do I have a nice SEV.
I can’t wait to see the cobra driving. I can’t believe you didn’t get a HELL of ALOT more views on that video yesterday…?? Guys if you missed it? Go watch it after this one. Its amazing!!!👍
You can buy a jumper module that simply plugs into the existing harness for the auto stop on/off button that will remember how you last set the switch. So if you turn it off it stays off. Worth every penny.
I also have a Ram 1500. Mines a 2019 Bighorn. Low miles only 30k. Not as well equipped as yours Randy but it’s got the Hemi 5.7 and some other goodies. I’ve driven mostly Dodge Rams since the 80s. Very few issues.
i like ford, chevy and ram. ibgo with what suits me best at the time I buy one. currently I have a 2022 f250 with the 7.3 godzilla gas v8. amazing engine!
Another great video and great update and thabest for sharing keep up the great work randy much love to ya man take care god bless see ya on the next one
Hello Neighbor! In Henryetta here. I’ve had my 2019 Limited eTorque since new (Purchased from AutoMax CJD in Shawnee in September of 2018). Currently has 27k miles. Let me know if you ever want to do a comparison video!
@AutoAuctionRebuilds sorry, I missed that somehow...my RAM has performed for 2 years trouble free, oil changed and tire rotations, that's it...loaded up Laramie trim....
You should trade that in and get a new f150 with the 3.5 eco boost. Would love to see a review on this truck. I’ve had rams in the past but I’m thinking on switching it up.
My new Silverado has the option to turn off the auto stop start all that crap is doing is wearing out the starter and the battery and the salesman said we could go into the settings and disable the active fuel management I haven't had the time to mess with it yet but I'm happy with the 6.2 liter
@@AutoAuctionRebuildsThere are AFM disablers that just plug into the OBD-2 port and will turn off the active fuel management system. Another option is to have the system removed entirely and disabled, but personally, I would just buy an AFM disabler and leave it plugged into the OBD-2 port.
Randy I know you have had mixed experiences on buying "donated" cars on copart. Thinking about buying a newer subaru outback that was donated. Thoughts?
everytime i see a ram i hear tick tick tick tick, lmao jokes aside they are alright. Good job on actualy driving the truck tho, myself I def dont drive enough
It's really strange, but I've never had any luck with Dodge cars or trucks. In over forty years of driving several brands, Mopar products all had either quality issues or had serious breakdowns. I've had a couple of Fords too, but overall, I am a GM guy when it comes to American vehicles. The Toyotas I've owned have been the most reliable, but in the past. I would not buy one these days.

Water pumps seem to be a common issue with the Hemi's, I have a '22 Challenger with 36k and already had the water pump replaced before I bought it.

Randy that's a beautiful truck buddy, unfortunately we don't get cool vehicles like that here in the UK!!! 😞

Not sure if you knew or not since you didn't point it out, but there's a lever under the rear seats to recline them.

I'm looking to get tires for my F-150 and Pirelli is on my list. Would you recommend the Pirelli Scorpions?
Wheel size? I dont get the lower profile tires on a truck but seems like that make you get them
Only thing that could make the truck better was that super cab option they used to offer.
With the Hemi going away if you want to buy a new truck what would u buy??
You can turn off the auto stop by using the button below the gear selector or via the touch screen settings option…….
Yes, I showed this in the video.
