Blind purchasing remember me - I love the notes. You’re very intelligent and I live you’re aware of Armenia and turkeys history. Wish you all the best. I just found your channel

Spray in the shower? Lasting days? Are you saying you sometimes spray on wet skin (like an oil)?
Please clarify this amazing tip to make your scents last longer.

Amazing performer Ani is and I love that drydown. I love the complexity of the beginning and how it dries down to an amazing smooth vanilla at the end. One of my favorites. I had a wonderful vacation up north here in Michigan to Oscoda with my significant other. Wore Ani most of the time and now every time I smell it, it brings me right back to that time. I will cherish Ani as long as I live due to this. I certainly have to try Remember Me. Ive tried 21 Conduit st and that was very nice, just need to wear my sample more to make a definitive decision as to possibly buy or not. Great vid!

Thanks for sharing. I heard about Ani's history being the game of a town and celebrating what it was but didn't know about the Perfumer. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these. If there's anything i know now because of Amina is to get my nose on Jovoy lol.

I agree, Ani is very crowd-pleasing, as are many of the Nishane's. They're hyped because the internet is performance-crazed. I was a bit disappointed when it came to creativity. 🌹

Finally got time to watch this properly. Amazing review on the two fragrances. I do have both but I much prefer Remember Me...by a lot. It's a scent that puts in a good mood every time I wear it. One go my favorite fragrances EVER and will remain in my collection. Thanks so much for sharing. 🤗

I’m intrigued to try Ani, I do appreciate what Nishane as a house are trying to do. What a lovely backstory also. Armenia has always been close to my heart. Remember me also sounds pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing Yve 😊I

I don't know Ani, but I did just pick up a bottle of Hacivat for $147.
    Not bad.
    Happy Holidays.

I very much agree with your take on these. I sold off all my bottle of Ani except a small decant I kept for myself. The lactonic note in Remember Me doesn't play well with my skin (this is true of many fragrances with that quality), so I don't love Remember Me but it is a nice fragrance.

    • @yvespiderssmells9956
      @yvespiderssmells9956  3 года назад +1

Thanks for watching, Tara! Yeah I definitely would not recommend Remember Me to anyone who doesn't like lactones. I think I was talking to a friend about that recently and she does not like this fragrance.

A tale of two scents!!! I absolutely adore that, if you turn that into a tag I’ll do it someday, you always create videos of substance with careful reflection on the perfumes you focus on. Great vid! 💙

Being from the region i would say ANI does smell familiar even common, this combination of vanilla, creamy, spicy and citrusy smell can be found in local desserts. Wearing ANI is a bit challenging , i do wear it a lot for myself, i dont think it would be offensive if i wore it outside its a very pretty perfume but its like a piece of art - not for everybody. I haven't smelled Remember me but i will look for a sample as you intrigued me :)

I love fragrances reviews with backstories of the fragrances. Most fragrances are created with purpose and intent...and I am in knowing🤷🏿‍♀️
Thanks for the great review. I have Nishane Ani because I wanted to experience many different types of vanilla scents. Ani speaks of conflict to peace IMO. The sweetness of Peace🙌🏿 Thanks again!

Loved this thorough review Yve ! I have been going back and forth with Ani.. a lot of people love it.. but also the same number say that they smell the scent differently.. some get more of the ginger and spice.. which i think is also really nice.. i have never smelled Ani.. but i love the story behind the scent..

I am not usually a fan of vanilla as a main note. Although, there are always exceptions that make me eat my words. I've tried both Ani and Remember Me. Neither worked for me but they are well done fragrances. Nice review!

Enjoyed listening to your thoughts on Ani & Remember Me. I own Ani and will request Remember Me for my Christmas gift 🎁. I adore Ani for its invigorating yet creamy scent profile and Remember Me for it’s nostalgic chai latte accord & floral facets

I am really interested in both of these scents - Ani, because of the hype and Remember Me because of how Sebastian has talked about the scent, I like tea fragrances and I love chai tea spices. I am wondering if the merengue treat you are talking about is 'divinity' - if I remember correctly, it is a little chewy with a pronounced sweetness. It's something I made years ago and I think it has egg whites, corn syrup, sugar (maybe confectioner's sugar), vanilla extract. I really want to try these fragrances. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Take care, Ginny 😘😘😘

  • @dajuice7030

I have tried both of them and agree with your perspective. I think Remember Me is a better fragrances and I enjoy wearing it more the Ani. However if I am going out to a large social event or outdoor gathering I like the performance of Ani. If you haven't tried Lune Feline Atelier de Ors that's a another really good Vanilla which I also like more then Ani.

I actually prefer Ani on the drydown much more than the 1st hour or so. To me the drydown smells like very realistic sweet cardamom with vanilla. More cardamom than vanilla! Or at least the cardamom is more noticable to an untrained nose. Also it becomes sweeter in the drydown and suitable also for a woman, it is definitely a very masculine scent in the beginning, to my nose a typical spicy old school after shave / cologne vibes. I actually didn´t like Ani at all when I tried it on myself since it was so masculine and spicy so I gave it to my husband. He agreed with me that it is not that great, it is a typical masculine scent. But wait! I smelled something absolutely incredible in the air! A gourmand but not too sweet cardamom! Like freshly baked cardamom rolls! It was my husband in the other room! He was wearing Ani! So the magic of Ani is in the projection, how it smells in the air and how it smells in the drydown becoming this intoxicating realistic sweet cardamom! Still when I put my nose close to the scent when my hubby wears it is slighlty more masculine but only when you shove your nose right against the skin and that rarely happens when you wear a perfume. Only 10cm away from the skin it is already a soft, sweet, yummy scent perfectly unisex. So my conclusion is that a truly good perfume smells amazing in the trail, in the air, in your bubble, in the projection thorough out it´s performance, not when you shove your nose directly where you sprayed it (which is the mistake I usually do testing perfumes lol). I have yet to try Remember Me, I am eager to try that one!
