You're not having much luck with the weather at the moment, hope it picks up for you soon. You made the right call there making it a short day and getting your kit sorted out. You need to be dry and comfortable otherwise it would be miserable and that defeats the whole object of the trip, you have to enjoy it! 😊

There was a little snail going past me today saying get out the way 🤣 apparently first few days are hardest and my legs should start to adjust so all good 👍
