Origami Robots

What can you do with a piece of paper and a motor? How about a zoo of robotic animals?
98 SUTD freshmore students who were on Asian Leadership Programme (ALP) at Zhejiang University (ZJU) participated in “Ideas and Expressions of Design” course, offered by International Design Institute of Zhejiang University (ZJU) in July 2017. The students, though with no prior robotic design experience, made nearly 40 different kinds of “animals” after learning a series of knowledge and techniques in the class.
