I’m glad she’s supportive, but I think she misses the point that simple gestures can be just as sweet as going all out.
BTW, why has Warner Bros. never corrected That Scene so the soundtrack carries at least Maureen McGovern's song? Or better yet, John Williams' love theme? (Maybe this is an early symptom of Warner's not-so-secret hate for Superman?)
Heh it is funny that now that bit has gotten so infamously lame other variations of the series make fun of it. Just like how Spider Man 3's dance got mocked in Into the Spider Verse or Bane's voice in The Dark Knight Rises got mocked in The Lego Batman Movie/Harley Quinn show.

I thought what clark was doing for his valentine's day date was cute and no fuss. i mean grand romantic gestures are fine but like for way more down the line. lois and clark just started dating and also....."CLARK IS SUPERMAN!" He is already showing her all of the grand gestures and they go on adventures together. what's not to love about that?! as i said i think clark is doing just fine in my opinion. also jimmy.....maybe you should invest some of that money wisely for yourself and to flame bird videos otherwise your gonna go broke very fast.
I think it's interesting that Lois' outfit is slowly growing a bit more sophisticated this season. The lines on her outfits are a bit cleaner and instead of sneakers and vans she's now wearing ballet flats. She's still got a casual look that's still clearly her, but she's clearly started upgrading her look a bit. I think that's a cool touch

I like the illustrators of this series make mini funny fight of Lois lane wearing a karate uniform in barefoot fighting a Kropotonian or another enemy connected several blows to his enemy but to receive a double hand crusher in the head and then faint putting a camera angle of her from the front when she falls backwards, showing her feet
I think Clark’s first date plans weren’t all that bad. I mean sure maybe something nicer to eat would’ve been better or a shared dessert of some kind, but it was a good plan. Considering the wild chaos those two get into on the regular, especially with Clark being FREAKING SUPERMAN, a chill date is a pretty nice change.

@@redrasegarden i’m not sure about them, but maybe we have a similar reason. i don’t particularly hate or dislike her, but sometimes she does things that are just so unreasonable. the latest episode when they went to go save lois’ dad and he told her he wanted to find her cousin - she just completely brushed him off. she didn’t try to understand his feelings even tho he has told her how lonely and different he felt. she just immediately assumed the cousin would be evil or smth yk?
clark also literally went to save the man who literally kidnapped, tortured, and tried to kill him, and she basically told him to ignore his feelings for a bit. and yeah i understand she wants her dad safe, but it just doesn’t seem like she genuinely cared abt how everything was making him feel.
so i guess to sum it up, sometimes it feels like she pushes clark’s feelings to the side for whatever reason she has and it’s a little cruel. i do think she is a good character and person overall tho just a few flaws

@@princeizuku well I have not seen this episode properly I disagree about the Kara situation. The first time, Clark prioritized what she wanted to do (which is reasonable considering who they were dealing with) and then the second time they got interrupted. However those are moments I’m aware of, so it’s possible I missed something.
I do agree that she does unnecessary things, but I think she just loses herself in the moment. I think she has something of a romanticized view of her job and doesn’t realize how it can be done easier.

@@redrasegarden ok so In this episode, Lois pretty much pushes Clark’s feelings to the side and ignores them, immediately wasted no time to discourage the idea of him finding his long lost family member despite the fact that he jumped to help her find her dad. She has this habit of cutting him off when he tries to explain things then gets mad at him when she doesn’t know about things. And to put the cherry on the top, she never once lifted a finger in the episode nor in the first season to defend Clark (not Superman just clark) when her father started picking fights with him and making disrespectful comments about him right in front of both of them and Clark’s family. (Additional whip cream) she had basically let her father move in with Clark without asking him let alone his given consent or opinion about it and gave a carefree smile. I understand that ppl have flaws especially in relationships and tend to forget but these actions of hers are and have been repeated through out this series being resolved with a very poorly half ahh apology. she’s shaping up to be a pretty bad gf towards Clark with how she’s been neglectful of Clark’s feelings
