I consider myself a content creator who still creates for the fun and sake of creating. I know all the algorithm/user psychology tricks to maximise views when it comes to thumbnails, descriptions, titles, format, types of topics and guests etc, but I voluntarily don't use them because they'd negatively impact my style and aesthetic.
It is slop Prude. Lol, I sympathize, people gotta make a living. But as a pure (cloutless) morlock of the internet, I'm calling it what it is.
This stream made me feel old because I've been on the Internet since 1996. It really was the Wild West back then. I failed to capitalize on any of the major tech trends despite working in tech that whole time.
All these tech trends that made it big turned out to be objectively gay and a disaster for our race.

Culture creation and analysis is definitely a good pathway forward. Already channels like Feral Historian are becoming favourites. Parenting is a possibility, but the problem with that is a lot of the terminally online will mostly leave the online for the hardest years of parenting (look at Dave the Distributist for example) and parenting truly is a memetic, embodied, cultural experience that I don't think the internet is a particularly good tool for.

It's a good chat. I don't follow this Dee but I might change that for some topics. I think saturation is a problem with all digital media and we will see a return to irl. But I think the change wont come until things get worse.
