I had about 80% of this selection but alas sold when i decided to travel overseas- rarest has to be Undertones which i bought back again many many years later!! Great upload!
Great records, I'm loving it, but most of them are not even rare, let alone super rare. Undertones and Jerks are kinda hard to find, but if you want super rare UK punk singles, search for The Exits, Antisocial - Traffic Lights, The Zips, Blitzkrieg Bop on Mortonsound, The Now - Into the 80's, The Beez, Varicose Veins, Disorder - Air raid, The Blanks...
Quite impressive bud. Got them all myself but... I've got Suspect Device/Wasted Life with the red label and handmade sleeve, In The City, the title of the songs in a straight line. The Ruts, where it says People Unite mine has a black circle going round the label. Still very good though.
Subway Secty were superb. As were the Buzzcocks and X-Ray Spex. Eater and the Cortinas - absolutely brilliant. Just like SLF. And The Adverts. All good, mate. "How Much Longer" - top tune. Johnny & The Self Abusers later became Simple Minds. At least some of them. I love the Rezillos! But hey, remember Neon Hearts, Suburban Studs, The Valves, Zeros, Lockjaw, Elton Motello...?
I like that the rarest single is playing in the background. “Cold beat” by the Sound, taken from the Physical World EP. Not an easy one to find! .. and if you like that.. “Heyday” is also a killer single by the Sound...
I have just one - the Buzzcocks. Now I should show my San Francisco 45s - DKs - Avengers, Tuxedo Moon , Flipper. Hey what song is playing in the background?
I got one, "In a Rut", and had one, "In the City", but I think I sold it when I got the album. Not shown, but owned by me, is " Killing an Arab" by The Cure on, I think, Small Wonder Records - not the Fiction later release. These 7 inchers have not left my disc carriers for over 3 decades of more.
The rare UK release of Neat Neat Neat has a push out centre for jukebox play however if the middle has been dinked out then it's lost its value .In the £300 range
Johnny and the Self Abusers = Simple Minds in an earlier guise. I saw them playing in a local pub when they were the Self Abusers. They were shite then and never got any better when they went stadium rock.
those plastic sleeves are starting to react - you can tell by the rippling/ bubbling. either dump em altogether or shell out for some non-reactive ones
Lot of 'Top Of The Pops' punk there, big sellers in their day. So be honest, great records sure, but fairly easy to find, (Spiral Scratch looks first press, so that's a medium rare one). Mmm, great and rare UK punk records are by much more obscure bands. And world punk records from all corners of the globe even more exciting. Killed By Death!!!!
Bought pistols no-one is innocent/ my way 7 "( well not really the pistols )in andys records Cambridge in early 80's. It was a miss press with shot by both sides by magazine on 1 side and my way on the other now thats rare. Record collector mag confirmed
I bought Spiral scratch when it came out and walking home from the bus I took to the store , I held it in my hand and it warped a big thumb print on it ...unplayable 😡🤬
Thanks for sharing if you want to look for punk that is not mainstream and rare look for a copy of Aristocrap on relegated records. Now that is a rare 7”

Sad to say I've got all of them except Spiral Scratch (if its the original pressing, but do have a later pressing) Members (not punk enough) and Elvis Costello (he's also not punk enough for me, although i like his first 2 albums a lot) Yes, I am collector scum...lol. You've got a great selection here. I just had posted on a site my all time top 15 punk albums. If you want I can send you the link.
Hi Mac, I have a copy of the first press of An Ideal for Living, but unfortunately without the cover and in very bad conditions. This is the reason I didn't add to the collection in this video and because I consider Joy Division more post punk
@@vurtula6174 They recorded this as Warsaw, defo punk at that stage, there's 1 copy for sale on discogs for $13k (not sure about the pound/sterling conversion), very rare punk tracks.

The Now - great band! "Why?" was one of the first punk tunes I ever heard. Blitzkrieg Bop was a fantastic band. "Life is Just a So So".
So many classics! That Members 45 (Solitary Confinement) is an all-time personal favorite.
"Spiral Scratch" by Buzzcocks. The ultimate independent DIY EP record. Completely self-released

They look great and in good condition. I was into Punk back in the late 1970s. The Damned were one of my favorite groups.
I missed split single Crass - Bloody Revolutions / Poison Girls - Persons Unknown. Talking about RaRe!!!!
GO Crass GO................
I owned 18 of the 23 (and didn’t want the other 5) but the only one I’d call rare, at the time, was the Killjoys one. I miss hunting through racks.
