@ Once you get the screws with the keyboard symbol loose on the back, you can put one of them part way in and push on it, then the keyboard will pop out at the edge. Get one of those plastic trim removal tools and run it around the edge of the keyboard and the whole thing will pop out. Then you can just lay it over like he does and access the two ribbon cables.
I have this exact unit but the large panel won't budge after having the tabs slid outward as you show. The battery pops but the large panel not. I have tried to press and pull with both hands but its not moving. Any ideas about prying it off without damaging it? Thanks for any help.
Helped me A LOT OFF... can you tell-me a thing?! are those green things under the keyboard memories? can you confirm how many memories are (DDR2, DDR3 and which bus)? I can't find the manual for this card .... Sorry question.
@@handmaderepair4980 oright, thanks for fast reply! I really need to get my 8570w cleaned because it overheats so easily. I was also thinking of changing the cpu heat sink. Do you know, what is the easiest method of cleaning the computer? Pressure air? Vacuum cleaning? And do you know, how to change the heat sink?
Ok, I finally got it out. One last question. It has one 8gb memory stick under the keyboard. If I add 2 x 8gb to the main ram slots, for a total of 24Gb, will that work or will this be an issue with any matched set considerations? Thanks again.
this is not the way to dissasemble a laptop, you can't just brute force keyboards out like that, it is almost unbearable how this man just haphazzardly shoves his screwdrives between cables to wedge them out and pull on the entire frame to see if it's lose enough to pull apart, my god man, i hope you don't do this for a living.
lol my laptop is all good from everything he showed me keybaoard is 100 % still....ps @nathan this how computers work,.....its the placebo effect IT technician comes problem get fixed
I managed to destroy the mouse. and have 2 screws that turn but won't come out. and 3 ribbon clips fall to pieces. what a shit design... not your fault. oh well I will just bin it
My keyboard won't pop out. The whole top piece pops out, but I can't get at the ribbon cable for the keyboard then.
