Of course I love them all but I think my absolute favorite is the one you made for your daughter. Thanks for taking the time to share all of these creations with us, such great inspiration!🙂🙏
I got this kit because my daughter is crazy about butterflies. So fun to see all the great ideas! Love using the letters on the frame, I love to decorate frames and what a fun idea! I’m for sure going to make those spinner cards....love that idea! (I hope you aren’t taking a drink when I say “idea” or your looped! 🥴❤️😘
Kim Shaw haha, Kim you’re so funny 😂! I know you like to repurpose things, so the frame idea is right up your alley. I can’t believe I’ve been moving that frame around since 2008 waiting to repurpose it, lol. You and Alex will have a great time with this kit 😘❤️
Donna Rasmussen thanks, Donna! I figure most of us have products from all kinds of companies, because there are so many good ones out there. Might as well use what you like!
Ok Cassie, everyone is my favorite, because you are such a good designer! I do really love the one you embossed and then did a little copic coloring with, loved your design with the color of your marker with the pattern of your paper. You really inspire me with your designs. 🦋 and so clever to use the sticker sentiments as a background!
Thanks, Tressie! This was a fun kit to work with. I'm not entirely sure if it was the subdued papers that had me inspired or the butterflies, but I just really enjoyed creating with this kit.
I got so much inspiration from your video on what to create with this kit. The card you made with the miss-matched sticker sentiments was brilliant!!! When I got my kit I thought I was never going to use the stickers but now I know what to do with them. Great ideas! Thank you
AWESOME!!! I love to re-purpose, especially picture frames, brilliant minds!!! Love everything, as always, whatever you touch Cassie turns fabulous!!! Stay well and amazing!!! Blessings & hugs!!!
Fabulous! I really love how you utilized the stickers as a background...very clever and an idea I’ll be using 😉. I never know what to do with the stickers that come in some kits. That butterfly spinner was my favorite....I even like that you weren’t bothered by the little tear. 😎
FLCraftyGirl there is no stress in Card making, so a little tear just is what it is. And the stickers, yes, I’m the same way, especially if they are like these ones and don’t really have card sentiments but general statements 😊
so hard to pick a fav, they are all beautiful. This showed me many techniques and I have done the spinner which is fun. thank you for sharing this with us.
Hi Cassie, what a super diversified bunch these were. Cassie, your just so creative and talented. My fave would be the frame, all the techniques you used gave me a lot of different ideas on re purposing. Thank you so much. Peace.
What a fantastic variety of cards not to mention that frame you coaxed from that kit. Your first triple butterfly card is gorgeous and I’m now looking quite differently at several sheets of word strips. I’m in the same boat as often not knowing what to do with them. Now I do!
Farley Cross thanks, Farley! I knew I couldn’t be the only one who struggled with those. I feel accomplished if I’ve used up things like that, so I had a great sense of it after that card was made 😘❤️
Nice cards, Cassie! I think my favorite is the one with the stencil, but the spinner is a close second. I stamped out a background with the butterflies, but haven't colored it yet. You color a lot better than I do... Maybe I'll send it to you so YOU can color it! Like quilters sending out their work to be quilted on a longarm. 😉
I love that idea with the stickers, I had no idea what to do with them, but I think I'll use your idea and make a background. All of these cards look wonderful, I always forget about stamping on pattern paper, thanks for the reminder.
Kathy Wolf thanks, Kathy! I’m glad you found a some helpful info in the video. If I hadn’t used the stickers that way, I’m not sure I would have used them at all 😘❤️
You made some beautiful cards with this kit. I love the picture frame you repurposed and the spinner card ao fun!! Love your videos! ( and the sneek peaks at your kitty crafters to!) Thanks Cassie!😘❤
Thanks so much, Tracey! I love repurposing frames and things like that. . .just slap some patterned paper on there and it's something new and different :)
Dawn Both-Kim I may have a problem, Dawn, because I’m always thinking about covering things with paper. If I could cover some furniture, I probably would 😂🤣😂🤣
All these card ideas are great! But Wow, I LOVE what you did with the sentiment strip stickers. I can never figure out what to do with those, so I will definitely be using your idea! Thanks for all the inspiration.
Linda Price awesome, Linda! I hope you do! I struggled with these, because they weren’t normal sentiments for the front or even insides of cards. I’m glad you found it useful ❤️❤️
Awesome video!! I feel so inspired! Have never seen your videos before but now I want to see all of them! Very hard to pick my favorite, but really like your stamping on the patterned paper. Gave me some great ideas.
I absolutely love your idea to make a background with the word sticker sheet💞 Now, if only I had an idea for the very random leftover letters I have from alphabet sticker sheets...😂 Thanks for sharing your super creative ideas! I don't know how you do it, but I'm oh so glad that you do😉
Michelle Montano haha, right, Michelle! I have so many of those leftover letters! I’m glad you found this useful, and thanks for your sweet comment 😘❤️
I feel the same way you did about the word strips - I love what you did with them! That’s gonna be my use for them as well - liked the look of them as a background .
Absolutely Stunning!! I learned so many new tips, techniques & tricks from your video! I LOVE Butterflies & your cards are Gorgeous!! I’ve never seen the “Spinner” card before but I will be attempting to make one very soon! Also have never seen the Rainbow Glitter Embossing powder but will be purchasing that too! The frame you made was another idea that I had never thought about making. I will now! Thank you so much for all the amazing ideas! I loved all your cards! Hope your daughter loved her card as much as I did! LoL! God Bless & the Love of Christ to you & yours!!
Beth Fralix thanks so much, Beth! That makes me so happy to hear that you learned some new stuff by watching, and I do hope you’ll give some of it a try. Blessings to you and yours too 😘❤️
I love all the cards! I always emboss before coloring with copics. It helps me to stay in the line bc I’m heavy handed. I don’t want the ink to spread.
What a great idea for the stickers! Genius, in fact. I think thats myfave, although I like them all and the bonus cards came out nice too. I love the papers in this pad and I know I have a frame laying around here somewhere that is going to be covered soon.😉 I got my kit the other day but havent even opened it yet, but now I wish it was already Friday again so I can play with it.
Cassie, you made me like this kit even more! I love the first card! The frame is a great idea. It came out great! I love the idea in using the word stickers as a background. I always have leftover words and phrases that I don’t know what to do with. In fact, I’m thinking that using them on a frame might be cool too! Thanks again, Cassie!
That's a great idea, Debbie! I'm always unsure of what to do with all of the leftovers and it seems a waste to throw them out. Putting them on a frame would be awesome!
Hi Cassie - LOVE the spinner card - had forgotten all about making those so will get moving and do it again soon - thanks for the reminder. Also the sticker background was very clever - sometimes they don't use phrases you'd ever use, so that's a very clever way of using them up. I really enjoyed this RUclips - thank you so much.
Thanks, Bev! I appreciate your kind comment. That's exactly what I was thinking with the phrases for these particular stickers. They aren't bad, just not anything that I would typically put on the front of a card. Thanks for watching :)
Wow as always you really rocked this kit. My favorite is the spinnercard love the colorcombo. But the altered frame and the card with the stickers are a close second and third. How clever to use those stickerwords as a background. You are so talented I skipped this kit but now I think I shouldn’t have done that. Thanks once more for your creativity and great ideas, loved watching this video and seeing Miles,
Not all kits are winners, and I've felt that way sometimes too. Then I see what someone makes with it, and I'm like 'wow, gotta have the kit now!' You know I love my kitty visits too ;)
Cassie, I would be hard pressed to decide which I liked best. I did love the bird that I don't think was shown but also the last with just HI on it., You do beautiful work and I am just a beginner and I did order the kit. Thank you
Beverly Putman thank you so much, Beverly! I hope you find card making you be not only fun, but rewarding and relaxing. Enjoy the kit, and thanks for watching 😘❤️
Hi. My favorite is the spinner card because I love how you colored the butterfly, it's beautiful. Sometimes I feel like the SSS kits are becoming a cross between Tim Holtz with a bit of Spellbinders kit with less items. Not making me happy lately. I started collecting Crafter's Companion kits from HSN before I found SSS and others so I personally am over butterflies they were in every single kit and paper so I quit after 10 months. Never thought that would happen as butterflies are the symbol of the kind of cancer I had. I got rid of the Tim Holtz letters cuz I'll never use them. I'm kind of starting to feel the same way about bees and gnomes. Sorry about my downer comments. You did a beautiful job with the kit this month as always and I will be attempting the spinner. On a positive note I really loved the butterfly stickers in last months Spellbinders kit and I would have bought more but they ran out. Glad one of your kitty kids made an appearance. Take care and stay safe.
Raleysmom Baker I get it. Sometimes too much of a good thing can be bad. I’m sort of over big florals right now, but with time I’ll probably be back into them. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 😊❤️
I always love your cards Cassie.. even when you call one an error it turns out beautiful .. love the spinner card .. I ordered the kit and will try that.. 🤗
Amazing cards and frame 😍 I love your designs, they are all my favourites, fantastic idea with the sticker sheets ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
Love them all....but spinner is my fave. The stamp set in this kit is amazing, so glad I got it! Still waiting for my studio Katia order....on pins & needles lol. Are you getting the BR Galaxy powders? I’m wondering if they are like perfect pearls.
Jen Aultman thanks, Jen! Dang, I would have thought your SK stuff would be there by now. And I’m thinking I may have to get those galaxy powders. I haven’t been able to watch anything about them yet, but I was thinking they might be like perfect pearls or possibly like color bursts? I need to figure that out.
Cassie Trask that is one thing I find frustrating about Brutus Monroe products… They don’t use RUclips to promote. I really want to know what’s in the groovy rainbow cards that… No info I could find. I looked here also for galaxy powders but I realize they may be brand new. Just checked and my SK package is out for delivery! Hooray!
Hi, Cassie. Love your videos, try to watch them all, even the older ones. :) You offer practical tips. Two questions... after watching a video, I purchased a Brutus Monroe black foam mounting tape roll. Black...wow...game changer!! BUT, I am having one heck of a time working with it. It sticks all over my scissors, to the point where it is very frustrating. I have to use alcohol wipes to clean the scissors constantly. The backing is also challenging to remove. Sometimes even “damages“ the item I have it attached to as i struggle. I am a very experienced stamper, so I have lots of tools to assist me, but I haven’t found anything that works yet. I contacted Christopher and he shared that there is a learning curve to this product. Any suggestions? Second question… I have been using Neenah Solar White 110# card stock as my base panels for years and 80# as my stamping panel. I score the base panels with a quality bone folder to crease. Sometimes, the paper at the fold frays a bit. After creating a beautiful card, it is so disappointing when this happens as I feel it lessens the quality look of a card. I do use the bone folder to smooth the edge and that helps. Just wondering if you have any thoughts or suggestions. Thank you very much for your time. I hope it was acceptable to ask these questions here. 😘
Hey Isabelle! First of all, thank you for watching my videos. I'm glad you're able to get something out of them! As to the tape. . .yes, black is a game changer for sure, and I too have the same issues, but have found some solutions. When cutting my tape, I use the Tim Holtz serrated scissors, and only those. My others will get gunked up if I don't. And I typically always have to use a paper piercer to remove the backing tape. I will stick it in between the the paper and the tape, and it will give me enough of a lip to be able to easily pull the paper off. For my card bases that use a heavier weight cardstock, I will use my bone folder in the Scot-Pal (or buddy whatever you have. . .get one if you don't have one. . .game changer). When scoring the paper I will even flip it over and score it on the back. That breaks up the fibers a bit, so that you don't get that issue once you commit to the fold. I hope that helps and makes some sense, Isabelle. If not, I'll try to address that in a future video. Thanks again for watching! And you can always email me. . .cassie006@gmail.com with future questions :)
Cassie Trask Thank you soooo much for the detailed response, Cassie! I was scared to use my BM serrated scissors for fear of ruining them lol. I love those scissors. And I’ll try to score both sides of my cardstock. Fingers crossed it makes the difference. Again, many thanks. I don’t have any crafty friends and certainly no card makers. So lovely to have RUclips crafters for stamping hints and helps. 😘
The 1st card you made with the gold butterflies & edging is definitely my favorite! It's so lovely. I like how you recycled the frame, so much cuter after being Cassified! LOL!
I adore all these cards!! The frame might be my favorite, but I like all the cards so much that I can’t choose one over the other. When I saw this kit initially, I was rather ho hum about it and didn’t buy it. After seeing your cards, I’m sorry I didn’t. But, we can’t buy everything, right??
i have heard, unsure if it is true or not and i do not remember where i heard it but i feel like it was a reliable source or i wouldn't have used what tiny memory i have to keep this info. however i don't color over EP often so i forget to ask them, but brutus monroe embossing powders are supposedly safe for use with copic and other alcohol markers. i believe that you might correspond with them on occasion so i wondered if you could ask them about that? i very rarely color after embossing so i never think of it until i see a video and hear someone state the disclaimer. this is the only company i have heard this about. i do believe that there embossing powder isn't the standard run of the mill EP formula that every other company makes. i think theirs has a different binder maybe it is wax free or something. i am not sure on the exact info but would love to know. if you don't have the time, or won't be talking to them, then comment back and i will ask someone over there at brutus and see what they say. i love their EP so that would just be one more thing to make me love it more. another bonus i hope. let me know
WOW - I didn't "like" this video Cassie; I really enjoyed it. You kept putting yourself down in a way, making me think Ouch she went down the wrong creative path, but like a butterfly you morphed your artistic talents and made them beautiful. (example: you didn't' like the color pallet of the 3 butterflies you colored). I admire your talent. Am going to try to follow your lead and see what I come out with; just got home and got the kit last night. I know this is long sorry. TYVM LEE Conradi (Lillian given name). Blessings, Lee
Thank you so much for that, Lee. Sometimes I find myself completely disliking the creative road I'm on, and most times I can salvage it if I just stick with it. Sometimes it doesn't work out, but it did in this case. I appreciate your sweet comment. Have fun with the kit, and thanks again :)
Of course I love them all but I think my absolute favorite is the one you made for your daughter. Thanks for taking the time to share all of these creations with us, such great inspiration!🙂🙏
You're always so sweet, Marcy. Thank you for that, and thank you for watching ;)

I love your cards! I especially like how you are able to use supplies from different companies!
Donna Rasmussen thanks, Donna! I figure most of us have products from all kinds of companies, because there are so many good ones out there. Might as well use what you like!
I am partial to your interactive butterfly spinner card. The butterfly is beautifully done.
Thank you so much!

Love the altered frame and the word background. I have the kit and thought the words were strange. Great background though. Great job.
Susan Crosier thanks, Susan! Yes, I knew those stickers would just end up in a drawer, so I had to do something ❤️

Cassie Trask not yet. I hope never.

Joan Orloff. DK thanks so much, Joan! I’m so glad you enjoyed it ❤️❤️
Love them all....but spinner is my fave.
Hooray!
Gorgeous cards my friend 💕
DawnMarie Manning thanks, sweetie ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks, Jenn! I feel like I could have just kept going with this kit :)

Debra Sandeman thanks, Debra ❤️
LOL!
Vickie Livingston haha, Cassified...I like that, Vickie 😂👍🏻❤️
Their all pretty
Thank you so much, Helen!
No, we sure can't, Carol. . .not enough time or money, ;)
Love your cards. I have a problem with fussy cutting, can you help?
Sue Cummings sure, Sue, what’s the problem? I do share in a couple videos how I fussy cut. Let me see if I can find one and link it.
Thank you
Sue Cummings I will share some tips in a video for Friday, so keep an eye out 😊
Very nice. Hugs 🤗
Thank you! 🤗
i have heard, unsure if it is true or not and i do not remember where i heard it but i feel like it was a reliable source or i wouldn't have used what tiny memory i have to keep this info. however i don't color over EP often so i forget to ask them, but brutus monroe embossing powders are supposedly safe for use with copic and other alcohol markers. i believe that you might correspond with them on occasion so i wondered if you could ask them about that? i very rarely color after embossing so i never think of it until i see a video and hear someone state the disclaimer. this is the only company i have heard this about. i do believe that there embossing powder isn't the standard run of the mill EP formula that every other company makes. i think theirs has a different binder maybe it is wax free or something. i am not sure on the exact info but would love to know. if you don't have the time, or won't be talking to them, then comment back and i will ask someone over there at brutus and see what they say. i love their EP so that would just be one more thing to make me love it more. another bonus i hope. let me know
I hadn't heard that, Ashley, but I will definitely ask! I sure hope that's the case, because I love their EP as well! Thanks for the head's up :)
You can scratch your stamp platform with a surgical Steele blade!
Good idea!
