Sahir Altamash Retires! Most Loved Train Driver of Pakistan Railways Performs His Last Duty

- Hello Everyone, Being a railfan and my subscriber, you must know about Sahir Altamash, who is amazing train driver of Pakistan Railways belonging to Lahore shed. On 7th July 2023, he performed his last duty before retirement and led 111up Badar Express from Faisalabad to Lahore. His family members, colleagues and I was present there to bid farewell to him for his services for the department. A great retirement ceremony was held at Lahore Junction railway station & Lahore shed which I captured from my lens. Also in this video, you will learn about Sahir sb's views and also his both assistants during his duty tenure.

Great video sir... It has been long not commented, as my time is not so going good and was in hospital for 2-3 weeks... Anyways didn't get time to comment, but have watched your all 4 videos of 101up, 11up,40dn and 6dn journeys.... Great as always... But todays video had made me to comment immediately, yes obviously for some people its kind of happy as well sad day... But for me its purely a day of sorrow, when suddenly I hear that the most popular and my personal Favourite Legendary Lp of PR has been retired, one of the few persons I really admired for almost 2-3 years since when I have known, known for his unique friendly and welcoming personality, also known for his speed, also known by his own continuous signature whistles of 2 light consective short light intense horn and 3 short high intense horn... Ah how to describe that, thought that my health is recovering will be happily seeing some more good journeys with him... But guess what it's it no more, lets hope for a day when we again see him in your vlogs... almost all the fellow crew members, Alp Shahid Maqbool sir , Deputy Lp saleem Masih sir, DI sir almost all were emotional as well... Anyways should also be thanking you very much for representing many memorable and extremely enjoyable compilations with him in form of your entertaining vlogs... Few recommendations for you when you do the interview: what are the main achievements, the most beautiful and memorable time he had in Pakistan Railways, which were the most challenging moments while performing his duties, what he is best at, what advice he wants to give to young generation, his interactions/incidents with passengers: good & bad, which parts of Pakistan he visited, which one he liked the most and why?....etc etc.... let's listen to people like him who are not noticed normally, what are their feelings, experiences.....
