I think Mountain eruption in 1257 not in 1912, before rinjani the name of mountain is Samalas and then after the eruption till now the name of mountain is Rinjani,maybe you can check again in google for detail information when the Samalas eruption 👌☺️

42:41 if you wanted to see the inside active volcano you can hike ijen crater or bromo mountain in east java, just 7 hours from bali
if u want to see inside volcano, maybe just go to Mount Bromo (beautiful sunrise/sunset).. and easy to hike too
