How much did my Automatic car wash make in just 1 month? Find out in this video. I only opened it 3 months ago so its still picking up.
After working for my Uncle for 2 years at he's car washes I really wanted my own and I came across this car wash. It was completely shutdown for many years so I approached the owner of the land and made a deal with him.
It took me 6 weeks to bring it back to life and open it and now the customers are starting to pour in. Not to mention I opened it during winter so I am yet. to see its full potential but here's a small taste of how its going so far!

How did you get started? I'd like to do a 2 bay touchless station. Do you have any videos and monthly costs and how you got started?
$6 is a good deal for basic because thats all you really need even though $5 is still best. Now everyone is doing $10 so now i wash my car at home lol. Also avoids the people that dont know how to go when its done.
I love these I 1st seen em when I was working in Nebraska. I can't wait to bring this down to the south for car lovers

You need to charge more. $9.00, $12.00, $15.00 and $18.00. I plan to open 3 car wash machines in one location in a busy town area.
We have 3 automatic machines, 2 touch free and 1 brush auto.
We average 200 cars a day
Also have 3 Manual bays

How do you even pay for supplies land and yourself? This money not what I thought

Maybe it could be a good idea to run some advertising, it will break the bank if it takes too long to become profitable, don't let it become upsidedown.

I still like self serve bays more than automatics, much more fun :) As long as its a proper self serve and not like the ones we have around here usually

how much is did you invest in the business?
Hope your business for this new location picks up fast, unfortunately I live quite far away (Finland) otherwise I'd be a loyal customer 😉 it's my dream to own a carwash station, just a couple of bays with foamcanon, high pressure washer, dryer just basic stuff and maybe a little shop on the side to sell detailing products since that is my passion. But here in Finland the rules are very strict, I'm not even allowed to wash my car on my own driveway and I'm afraid that all the precautions I'd need to take to stay environmentally friendly would jack the prices up so much that it's not going to be very lucrative. Anyway living vicariously through your channel and I wish you all the best 👍

With your in bay automatics how many cars do you think each machine is washing a day?
@@davidc5808 I would say my autos run 300-500 a month each. They’re all 3 in small towns. My next location I’m getting does about 3000 cars a month. Bigger city.
@@InvestWashRepeat when you say 3000 a month are you saying a single machine is doing 3000 a month or roughly 100 a day?

Have you ever thought doing window tinting in one of your bays and asking the customers if they would like that?
I have plans to do one of these in my local municipality.

Really enjoys your videos. Would you say car washes in business areas not residential are still good to invest in. There’s some that are run down where I’m at but all in business areas only
They could be. Hard to tell without looking at the area. If there’s plenty of cars driving by then I don’t see why not. If it’s 90% semi trailers and trucks then might not do that well

How much does a carwash like that cost to have built out? From the ground up not including land. How much are your electric and water bills? Surely your overhead is much more than $2k/mo.
Approx. 1-2 million dollars
A wash like that for 1 bay is around 700k and 1.2 milliion for 2bay. Not including the land. Its very hard to get ROI from a new built carwash. Tunnle washes are a better investment. Can wash more cars per hour, sell monthly packages and coat per car is less in a tunnle setup.

Thanks James. Honestly hard to tell because I got the soap containers and barely looked like they moved in just one month. The soaps last a long time. Maybe like $50-$100 a month guessing. Still pretty quiet

Cash. But they do work with banks who loan on it. Just a bit of a process.

How much did it cost to buy and buy and install?
with the basic one i got quoted its around 125k with 15k to install. but that was the basic basic one. dealers demo is what there called i think.
