Right off the bat I can say the ‘Karen’ thing is overused. Stealing packages has nothing to do with ‘being a Karen.’ Karens are post-menopausal women who seek gratification by taking their sexual frustration out on others. Their primary targets are people within the service industry, or anyone who falls under any sort of ‘membership guidelines’ like HOA’s, golf/yacht clubs etc.; anywhere that has a higher authority to back them (‘speak to your manager’) so they can express an air of superiority to compensate for their lack of value in the sexual marketplace.

These aren’t Karen’s they are what we call porch pirates or porch poachers, I forget the term. It became a thing a few years ago where people were constantly steal packages when they were delivered to peoples homes, Now it’s died down.

I absolutely despise anyone's name being used to describe bad actions by others. I know a lady named Karen who is extremely sweet to everyone&she's been upset over this viral way to defame anyone with the same name. Bee otches fits better. Using Karen is sexist against women&racist as well. Why not a man's name who's usually of a minority? That'd be wrong&so is this.
About porch pirates, they should get a year of hard labor digging ditches. That'd be a great deterrent.

I can't believe that one of the commenters actually feels that cutting off the hand of a thief is a good idea. Just because they still do such barbaric things in some Muslim countries is no reason for civilized nations to stoop to that level. Getting tough on crime is one thing, but regressing back to the Middle Ages is a whole different story.
