- It's a competitive team show down! - We're playing games workshops warhammer 40k Kill Team.
at the time of filming - Ryan (the UKs premiere Kommandos Player) and me (the global number 1 Blooded player - I'm not sure how) replay a recent tournament game! - Kommandos seem to be having a resurgence in Kill team at the moment - lets see if they live up to their renewed hype.
Playing around with a new camera for this game - and alas didn't change the recording settings to a higher resolution, so will be able to push the quality for the next one.

RULES EDIT:
30:55 - Auto hits would be retained as 'normal hits' so wouldnt register as say a 5+ to then become crits with a lethal 5+.
still in awe of just how good your battle reports are. and that blooded team! what a kitbash!
cheers chops - hopefully get better with the next one - finally got a good camera to do the nice shots with - and figured out how to use it
wow, from a 5 to 10 deficit to only losing by 1vp. that was a treat to watch!
I feel like kommandos played aggressively can be a really strong T1 team, getting 4 points and demoralising the opponent, but If you stay in the game you can pull it back

This battle report is absolutely amazing. Two very small pieces of feedback. Use lav mics for the in game audio, lots of room noise on that audio. Also maybe a smaller dice tray and punch in the shot tighter with super high contrast dice. Hard to see dice rolls on a phone. Keep up the spectacular work. Goated.

Man the blooded team is just so versatile. Chaos guard, melee focused regular guard, Necromunda style gangs. Probably the best team they've done in that terms. As always looking forward to this, lets fuggin go!
I honestly think they're the best kill team, not overpowered but just so capable, yet you still have to work and line stuff up to get that perfect storm move than can just wipe out enemy operatives. they have my favourite combo going which is gaze of the gods on the melta with the enforcers forced overwatch move, perfection

Brilliant battle report - I'm one match into running Kommandos myself and I'm really enjoying how strong they are!
I think they're in a great position, I dont feel bad facing them either - they're not TOO strong - certainly not unbeatable but man do they have some tricks

@@DodgethisCZ hahah sorry man it was loot and hes too stupid to do mission actions so I ended up going 2 troopers and the enforcers but I should've taken him for the mortal wounds on the charge in retrospect. I'll post a pic of him 👍

Question about the blooded team- do the blooded token go at the end of each turn, or do they stay on an operative until they die?
Turn 3, can the ork boy dash and then charge over the barricade? Wouldn't he only be able to either charge or dash in a turn?
It's a specific octarius terrain interaction, for scrap piles 'charge over' doesn't prohibit a dash, just normal move and fall back

Turn 1 how was the Snipa Boy able to shoot with the conceal order? I know he has an action for 2AP to do that but he also moved into the vantage point during that activation
he was comms boosted to 3APL and he has climbing rope so he got to his position on vantage with just a move leaving him 2Ap to shoot

28:00 Isn't the grot concealed and behind light cover, so he can't be targeted?
He's within 1"/Triangle of the light cover. Cover lines cross the guys LoS. So he wouldn't be a valid target?
the sniper is within 2' circle of the grot. Probs should clarify if you're learning the rules :D sorry. This means that he can't count as being in cover - first bullet point for the cover rule pg 70

Hmmmm I think you're right - you just retain a normal hit not a specific number i.e. 4,5 or 6.

Not for 'scramble charge', it's in the octarius specific terrains rules you can still dash then perform it 👍

ive not heard of them to be honest, you mean for like stock pictures?
@@GFNGaming They're actually generated images, not stock photos. Look up "warhammer 80's ai" if you want an idea of the stuff you can have it make, it's really quite impressive.

😂 No one was more surprised than me, I also don't think there are a lot of blooded players so it's not super competitive position but it just means in tournaments I win more than I lose so 3 wins 1 loss consistently, scoring high on tac ops and primaries
