I’ve met Nasser in person, he was very kind and friendly, spoke many languages fluently. He was misunderstood and robbed on stage time and time again. A true world class bodybuilder who lived and died for bodybuilding. Palumbo is a backstabbing snake for saying what he said.

The Professor was highly intelligent individual.
He had a degree in history, political science and sociology.
He was not like the rest of us. He spoke 7 different languages Serbian, English, Spanish, Italian, German, Arabic and French.
His father is Egyptian and his mother was Serbian.
He was born in Germany, but he was representing Yugoslavia/ Serbia.
Everything he ever said had a meaning.
For example when the lady asked him "where are you from"?
"Um i think this doesn't matter"
He said it because of his diverse upbringing. Not to offend anybody. Country he was born (Germany) his mother country and a country his representing (Yugoslavia/Serbia) or a country his father is from (Egypt).
Thats why he was THE PROFESSOR ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I remember being up late night watching tv back in the 90's and came across the 98 Olympia. I remember like it was yesterday seeing Nasser walk out on stage and my jaw hitting the floor. He is who got me into bodybuilding. I couldn't believe how big and symmetrical he was, his lats were so large he couldn't hold his arms straight down. I bought his DVD series Nasser On the Way and studied his training and trying to match some of his weights. I got close in some but he was a monster. Rest in peace big fella, wish we could have seen you're life after bodybuilding.

The one thing I can say about Arnold was that his arm size was unequaled for his body weight. Ronnie Coleman weighed 300 lbs. & had 23 inch arms & Arnold weighed 230 & had 23 inch arms. If Arnold bulked up to 300 lbs.,he would have had 30 inch arms. Arnold's formula was 1 inch for every 10 lbs. of body weight. Many body builders had stick arms compared to Arnold's & that's why he won 7 Mr. Olympia titles. Arms are top priority of the judges.

One afternoon in 1987 I bumped into a guy at a gym in Preston, Northern England who looked like Nasser. It was a very big new gym at the time and a great place for university students with a few hours to burn to keep in shape away from pissing it away on very cheap beer at the uni bar. The young guy there was a serious massive off season figure. I never got his name it probably wasnt Nasser, but I’ve never forgotten the impact of seeing that guy work out. Different full muscle bellies, dynamics, and concentration. The same impact as when I saw the old school legend Paul Wynter the first time I worked out my skinny 6ft 2” 147lb string bean teen bod in 1982 😂

He was rude during interviews, denied his heritage, was too afraid to look up to someone for fear of being perceived as weak, refused to motivate younger generations that might have looked up to him.
A bitter, scared, small man with big muscles. That's all.

It's time to face the facts, that Nasser or Nassar character wasn't as ripped, cut,or jacked like the other top contenders. This isn't a personality contest It's a bodybuilding contest & personality had 0 to do with the outcome. A prime example is Dorian Yates,he won 6 consecutive Mr. Olympia titles.

I hate theses AI narrations, specifically when the text doesn't fit the voice. "He's like, the ultimate beast" lol, imagine hearing that in one of those old high budget TV channel production, it sounds so off.

Nasser was a really intelligent guy on a different and serious single minded track. He also gives me the impression of a troubled man with a mistrust of authority. It’s interesting how little he said of Dorian Yates, he must’ve been disgusted like most were when Dorian beat him almost with 1 arm tied behind his back. Anyhow, he was quick to see Ronnie coming out of the shadows as the man to beat above all others.

Palumbo was lucky to be around Sonbaty , compared to Sonbaty he was a nobody in the sport and only known as the inventor of bubble gut (Palumbuiosm) while Nasser was one of the greatest. He was a super intelligent and intellectual man , Like Mike Mentzer. Palumbo said he didnt respect women because he was jeloous because Nasser was good with woman while Palumbo was not , A bitter snake in the shadows with a big belly is what palumbo is.
