Robert, I love your channel! I watch as often as I can. I’m landlocked here in Phoenix,AZ. My father lives in St.Pete, I make it out a couple times a year to go fishing and visit the family. Your videos are my fix until I can get out there on the water. It’s my favorite place to be! It puts my mind at ease. My Dad went out yesterday for a Father’s Day fishing trip for American Reds and had a killer day! Reds, Mangos, Grouper, etc....I was bummed I couldn’t be there. Who would want to be a vegan when you can eat fresh fish as well as deer, bear, wild hog, game birds and waterfowl all fresh and from the wild no antibiotics or growth hormones and leave all the farming and truck transportation out.

Did not realize Bahamas were so close to Florida! Regularly fished 60 miles off South African Coast after Yellowfin tuna! Had to be ultra careful with weather . No single engines, always extra gas. Twin fuel tanks in case one tank gets contaminated. Regular fuel filter changes. Worked multi buddy system . We all knew each other and often fished as a group of 4 plus boats. We were all ex Military so we understood the true teamwork system. Carried plenty of two rope and gear. Simply too dangerous if you got into trouble. If a boat lost an engine one of us would shadow them back just in case. We had each other’s backs big time. Today it’s you, tomorrow it’s me. A true brotherhood of Vets who stood fast with our fishing buddies! These seas were very very dangerous with 20 plus foot swells quite normal. Regular MOB drills. All crew members knew how to hit GPS within seconds. Lines up . Radio SOS. Luckily we were the rescuers the only time it happened but within minutes the other boats were on it and pulled the kid out of the water. It was heartening to see guys react so fast!
I've never owned a boat before but you make it look fun of course, so can you do a video about what it takes to maintain a boat before you take a trip and how to reset and recycle everything to prepare for the next trip?
